"So, your dad cheated on your mom and you and Ali are the only two that knew?" I asked Aria as we all lounged in the Hasting's Living room.

I didn't feel safe leaving Spence after A broke in, but then again A's been inside my house before too. We all slept over, luckily I avoided an awkward talk with my dad in return for comforting my friends.

"Alison, saw this Meredith person?" Emily asked, and before Aria could respond Hanna jumped in.

"Meredith? Her name's Meredith? Ew." Hanna said and I couldn't help but laugh. She always did know how to make someone smile through a bad time.

"That's not a cute girl name. I'm seeing big pores and mousy roots." She continued, and that's when I realized the only two people in the room who were amused was us.

"Hann, I think it's a little too soon to joke." Spencer said and I looked back to Aria who was on the couch with gloss tint eyes.

"I'm sorry. But if you're gonna cheat...do it with someone who deep conditions her hair." Hanna said and I sighed taking my plate and sliding it over to her.

"Put something in your mouth besides your foot." I said nodding for her to look back at how upset Aria was.

"I'm sorry, okay? Look, all I'm saying is that when my dad left, laughing sometimes helped. So did crying." Hanna said and I smiled.

"When my mom died, my friends were the only thing that really got me though it. We can cry together if you want." I said and Aria just shook her head.

"My father hasn't left, guys. I mean, this happened over a year ago." Aria said and we all kind of looked at each other quietly.

"You think he's gonna leave?" She asked and I just kind of gave her an awkward smile.

"In a relationship, cheating is one of the only things that aren't forgivable." I said and she frowned.

"But, look whatever happens, we're all here for you. Plus if he does leave, Ella can just marry my dad and we can be sisters, I'll totally make him dump his new girlfriend." I said and she just cracked a smile.

"And lose out on the hot step brother." Hanna said and I rolled my eyes.

"Since when is the hot doctor dating?" Spencer asked and I rolled my eyes.

"It's new, new enough to ruin, I'd trade you for Justin any day." I said to Aria and she laughed.

"Wow, you with a brother I couldn't imagine it." Emily said and I shrugged.

"I'd finally have someone to chase the boys away."

"Finally, I've been calling you all morning, Wilks." Noel said joining my hip as soon as I walked onto school property.

"Sorry, Noel it's been such a long week." I said and he just smirked.

"It's only Tuesday, Nat. Is everything alright?" He said and I just smiled.

"Don't tell me you're going soft for me Kahn." I said with a smirk, and instantly he dropped his nice act.

"No way, so when were you going to introduce Justin to the crew. Dude shows up to football practice, totally blows us away. I'm like who's this kid, I ask around and turns out your the only person in school that knows him." Noel said in his typical Noel fashion, I couldn't help but smile.

"I literally met him yesterday, I didn't get to even warn him about you." I said playfully as I nudged him.

"Whatever Wilks, I'll forgive you since he's cool, hopefully he'll convince you to come to parties with Eric and I again." He said and I shook my head as we walked into school together.
