"Hey birdie. Did you have an ok day?" (Y/n) asks her husband from the couch.
The blonde stays silent as he walks over.
His jacket falls to the ground and his shoes come off one at a time.
The woman frowns and closes her eyes as the man falls face first into her lap.
His feet lay against the arm of the couch.
Keigo grips her pants tightly with one hand and the material covering the small of her back with the other.
(Y/n) hums softly and gently plays with the hero's hair.
No answer was necessary.
She knew he needed time to relax and forget.
Hawks' grip loosens and his whole body relaxes.

After a bit the hero turns his face toward her stomach and she smiles down at him.
"Birdie~" she sing-songs.
He opens his eyes and looks up into hers slowly. "Baby bird." He whispers and reaches up to cup her cheek.
(Y/n) bends down to kiss her husband gently.
Hawks smiles and buries his face in her stomach. "I love you baby bird." He mumbles, just barely audible.
"I love you too birdie." She whispers back.

Keigo lays on his side and (Y/n) rubs her thumb over his hip gently.
Her fingers still run through his blonde hair as she sings quietly.
Moments like this are what he treasures most.
Because when all is said and done, when he leaves the villains and heroes, he can come home to (Y/n) and she knows exactly how to make him feel good.
Her power to make him forget his pain and burden; Keigo calls it her quirk since she was born without one.

"Let's move to the bed. You'll be more comfortable."
She didn't say, 'we would be more comfortable" because it wasn't about her or them.
In moments like this she focuses fully on him.
The struggles he shoulders all by himself are crushing and when he falls to one knee, she knows exactly how to make him get back up and keep moving forward.
Once they get into bed Keigo holds her against his chest.
She traces words and shapes on his back.
"I love you baby bird." He repeats.
"I know birdie." She responds and closes her eyes.
Hawks sighs softly and nods slowly. "Thank you for this."
"I will always be here for you Keigo. No matter what, I promise."
