𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗠𝗬 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 window, the sunlight outside shining into the car and I moved my hand along with the shapes of the bushes and trees that rushed by in a blur outside. Behind me, a gun barrel was spinning and I looked back at AJ, seeing him playing with his pistol. Clementine’s eyebrows furrowed slightly at the noise, trying to focus on the road, but she checked on him through the rearview mirror.
Emma: What you doin’, cowboy?
AJ: Pretending we got bullets.
Emma: Well, I think it’s getting on Clem’s nerves. So how about we stop now?
He huffed, putting the gun back down on the seat beside him.
Clementine: Thanks, goofball.
AJ: I don’t like goofball. I’m too big for it.
Clementine: Huh, so I guess you’re all grown up now.
