“When you throw the chance it will drift away,
like a balloon on a string that no one’s holding.”

View point of Myhrr

Since wala namang klase, tumambay muna kami.

“Care to share?”

“C'mon! Spill the tea.”

She takes deep breath before she answered my question. “It's nothing. Don't mind me.”

Bahagyang nabakurba ang isa kong kilay. “Tell me Ngo, how can I? As long as I see you wearing that sad face I can't help myself but worry.”

“May iniisip lang ako. Don’t worry, I’m fine,” she replied.

“And what's that anyway?” I know what's the thing running in her mind, or should I rather say the thing which is currently bothering her, ngunit ayaw ko naman na manghimasok kaagad ng walang pahintulot kahit pa sabihin na kaibigan niya ako. I know where to put myself. I know when I should make a move and involve myself.

She looked at me with her eyes holding many emotions. They were mixed in such a way that I can’t point a finger on it. “One month had passed but the case of my father still stuck on that day. I don't know what to do now.”

It’s true. One month na but until now ay hindi pa nausad ang kaso ni Tito.

“Patient? How long?

My instinct tells me the otherwise Ngo, pakiramdam ko ay may alam na sila ngunit ayaw nilang ipaalam. Hindi naman dahil sa kasabwat sila or what.”

Nangunot ang aking noo. Anong kalokohan ito? “What do you mean by that?”

“Fear.....” she said it with serious tone.

“Fear?” I don’t get it. But whatever it is, there must be a reason or two as to why.

“Yes, Ngo. I saw it with my own eyes. I saw how feared they were.”

Ah. I get it. “They're in fear by whom?”

She shook her head. “That's the problem. I don’t know the answer just yet.”

Shoot! That’s our problem to resolve the soonest. “Everything will be alright, Ngo. But before anything else, let's go home.”

She need to give herself a break. And while doing that, I’m to take action.

“Okay.”

Habang papunta kami sa parking lot, “Magus,” I called her name

“Hmm?”

“Don't stress yourself ‘kay?”

She smiled “Yup. I'm sorry for making you worry.”
