𝙻𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝙱𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑

1980

Venus was at the point of death, she couldn't hold onto life anymore. Tom stood next to her, Spattergriot had won. She had lost. She was in the room lying faced at the ceiling. Tom didn't care about the disease anymore, he was holding her boney pale hand. Her looks ate away at her slowly, but Tom still loved her. Healers were in the room, with all sorts of wires attached to her, and an oxygen mask over her face. Tom for the first time, had shown sympathy. He clutched her hand tightly. She knew that Harry Potter was born not long ago... and he was the chosen one.

'Don't leave, my darling.' He whispered

'I-I'll try—but-but I don't know if I can hold on' she said through ragged breath trying to fight off death.

'You will hold on, darling' he said holding her hand tighter. He kissed it slowly, not tearing his eyes of her weak body.

'Do you remember the first time we met?' She smiled

'Like it was yesterday' he said back

Seraphina and Orpheus were stood in the corner of the room, watching sadly. Seraphina and Fabian were pregnant. A tear slipped down her cheek.

Venus coughed weakly and turned her eyes towards Tom. She gulped.

'Do you still love me?' She said

'Yes. All the time' he said smiling

'That's nice to know...' she trailed off

They both laughed weakly before going silent.

'Our plan is nearly complete' he said

'But I think you'd have to go on your own..for the next part' she sighed

'What are you saying? No! I can't let you die here' he said taking some hair off her face and parting it to the side

'Maybe I have to go...' she looked into his eyes once more.

Weak, she feels so weak. Venus can feel the oxygen getting thinner,but her head is too heavy to take a look, Venus's arm is too heavy to lift, everything is too heavy. She feels so weak.

Tom looked at her like he's seen a horror movie.

'Venus? Darling? Listen to me, don't die, I need you! I need you! You've been here all this time' he said

Venus felt his words get wobbly.
She looked at his welled up eyes.

'You were the only one there for me! Stupid healers aren't helping' he said distastefully

'It was always going to be like this, Tom' she tried to smile

The only thing holding her up was Tom. It was always Tom, everything was him. She loved him, but in every wedding vow death do they part. Orpheus was hugging Seraphina who was now sobbing looking at her mothers last breaths

Venus felt like she couldn't  breathe, she couldn't breathe. Everything is so heavy.

Venus couldn't, she won't.. She knew she wasn't not going to make it. Venus can't be saved, it's too late. It's far too late. She accepted she was going to die..

'T-tom, I'm tired' she choked

'Shhh, it's alright, I love you. My darling I love you' he said clutching her hand and squeezing her hand with more emotion

Her entire body is numb, She can't feel any pain, no discomfort, nothing at all. It's kind of nice. It's like Venus's body is sleeping, but she is not. Maybe she should be sleeping.

'I'm afraid I must go...' she sighed sadly

'No! Venus please! I can't do this without you!' He seethed

'I can't help death, Tom. I guess time beat me...' she laughed slightly

'Don't say that! Don't say that!' He choked back a sob

He thought back to all their memories in Hogwarts. How grateful he was towards her. His Mistress.

'You taught me love! I thought I never could have! Venus don't go! Don't leave me!' He said

He was angry at the healers, they didn't do anything to try to keep her living. But he knew this day would come. But didn't think it was so soon.

'I'm so sorry, Tom. But remember I'm here for you, even if-if you cannot see me' Venus said smiling sadly

She then carried on.

'I'm afraid I must go...but, listen to me. Be well, be strong. And I love you..but I have to tell you something' she said feeling herself fall closer to death

'What is it?' He asked

'H-Harry...Potter...' she said with her final breath, she looked into his eyes she fell inlove

She looked at Tom once more and her heart shattered, all the things she wanted them to be.

Tom looked at the woman, who's eyes were now shut. He cried out, Seraphina screamed in agony. Orpheus hugged her. The Healers took her out on a stretcher.

Tom disappeared and came to the Malfoy's. He looked at the painting of her.

'I won't let you down..for Harry Potter...shall.Be.Dead' he gritted his teeth

He felt angry, he wanted to kill every last living thing on the earth. The stupid healers, everyone. He made the one thing he loved and cherished go.

And they were going to pay.
