1992 (present day)

'If he cared for her? Why did he hate her?' Hermione asked Dumbledore

'Because he didn't realise that he was slowly falling for her. He hated that it had to be her, his biggest enemy. He felt vulnerable and wanted to try and make his feelings in him go' Dumbledore smiled

'What did he write about her?' Harry asked

'I don't know for sure, but something nice about the girl. She was quite the pretty lady. Come and have a look' he said getting a moving picture off his desk and showed it to them

'Bloody hell, she looks gorgeous' Ron inched forward

'Do you think Tom developed a plan?' Hermione asked

'He did Miss Granger, and for her to be apart of it. He needed her intelligence among himself to become a powerful sorcerer like me. But he needed her—' Dumbledore got stopped by Hermione

'—Trust. He needed her trust. But how? You told us they were enemies.' Hermione questioned

'Now, that will come soon. But the main thing is that they bonded over their passion for dark arts and potions, I didn't know this until I got told by Professor Slughorn and Merrythought when they had indeed left school, those two were the first to brew the perfect Polyjuice Potion in the whole school.' Dumbledore sighed

'How smart was she?' Hermione asked

'Oh beyond anyone I've seen, the hat said so itself. She was powerful, even so more than the boy with a scar sitting right infront of me. Her and Tom's brains were most alike, and that is what he found curious about her. Why was it that she was smart? Smarter and more powerful than him? Should she be an acquaintance or stay an enemy' Dumbledore petted Fawkes

'You know the grey lady? Does Venus lurk around the school like her?' Harry looks at Dumbledore

'I'm afraid not, not all dead people get the chance to be a ghost. If she did, this would save a lot of time' Dumbledore giggled

'I still have so many questions' Hermione huffed

'Now now, it's only been the first day, we have a whole three years left to talk about, hmm let's say when it gets to sixth year, you all can look in the pensive' Dumbledore clapped his hands

'Do you know what happened after that potions lesson?' Ron perked up

'Yes, and it gets alot better. It's when everything sets in motion. That's where everything begins' Dumbledore leaned foward making Ron terrified

'Holy cricket!! We need to go to potions! Hermione gasped

Dumbledore waved and he sat back down, he looked at the moving picture of Venus graduating with honours. She stood next to Tom, his smile falters. But Dumbledore needs to get more secrets, and that was by recruiting Horace Slughorn. But how?

It was only second year, but there was still lots to uncover.

It is the day before they all go off  on summer break, since Harry killed the Basilisk down in the chamber. Dumbledore could only think one thing.

Did Tom ever save a memory of her inside that book down in the chamber?

Soon the three puffed in and opened the door to Dumbledore's room

'Potions is done I see' Dumbledore smiled

'Yes, now can you tell us more?' Harry pleaded

'Well it is the last day and you should all be packing' Dumbledore raised his eyebrows

'We will just tell us more' Hermione blurts

'First, I need to ask Harry a question.' He turned to Harry who tensed

'Did you ever see a lady next to Tom Riddle in the chamber?' Dumbledore asked

Harry had to track back

'I-I did, but who was it?' Harry stuttered

'I think you and me know that' Dumbledore mumbled

'Venus, that was her wasn't it?' Hermione looked shocked

'But she didn't do anything to me, she just stood there watching.' Harry scrunched his face trying to remember

'She didn't want to hurt any being in this world, but Tom's rotten heart made her change' Dumbledore looked down

'What did he do?' Harry asked

'I will tell you when you come for your third year at Hogwarts, we can discuss more then.' Dumbledore said as they all nodded picking up their bags and leaving

'I can't believe you saw her' Ron said as all three of them walked down the hall

'Saw who?!' Malfoy and his goons came infront of them

'Move over' Hermione rolled her eyes

'You didn't answer the question, smartypants' Malfoy wiggled his eyebrows

'I didn't want to, you probably don't even know who she is anyway' Ron scoffed

'Venus, a girl called Venus Ravenclaw! Happy?' Harry sighed pushing my them aside

'Who is she?' Malfoy mumbled

'Honestly that git better stay out of our way' Ron chewed on a chocolate frog

'Let's pack now, I hope you all have a good summer. I'll do my research, call me the next new Venus Ravenclaw' Hermione smiled

Once they packed they all got on the Hogwarts express

'Thinking that she stepped foot in here and Voldemort did' Harry gasped

'I heard she had a cat, like Crookshanks. But it was called Atlantis' Hermione shot at Ron

'She would have been better off without a rat eating cat, your cat nearly killed mine' he held Scabbers near him

More is too be coming. And more secrets will be uncovered about their story
