𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 || 𝑇.𝑀.𝑅𝑖𝑑𝑑𝑙𝑒

𝙺𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚏 𝙼𝚛𝚢𝚝𝚕𝚎

1943

Venus was kind of distraught after their little quarrel. She should of left it at that. She shouldn't have gone too far. It was now June and her and Tom were going to open the Chamber of secrets. During the day she then walked to the girls bathroom. Tom was waiting for her outside the toilets. They stared at eachother

'I'm sorry' they both said and stared at eachother

'No, Darling. I'm sorry, I shouldn't of done that to you' he held her hand

'I'm sorry if asking the question' she smiled

They then looked around to see if anyone was there and him and her stepped in.

'Now, the time has come' he smirked running to the sink

He then started speaking Parseltongue as they stepped back.  The sink started to disfigure and a large tunnel was now in sight. And then she saw it. The Basilisk, it slithered out of the hole and then Venus saw Mrytle come out from one of the stalls. She was wiping her tears because of Olive. She took one look at the Basilisk and dropped to the floor. Dead.

'Mrytle!' the girl shouted tears brimming her eyes

She crouched next to her lifeless body crying. Venus looked at Tom who was in awe of the Basilisk.

She tried shaking Mrytle to wake up Venus even slapped her.

'Tom, we-we killed her!' She screamed at him, tears now flooding out.

'I ordered the Basilisk to not kill you, but obey you, darling. We have to go before anyone suspects anything. Now our plan is working.' He took her hand as they rushed out

'Tom we just killed somebody! Don't you feel anything?!' Venus stopped down the hall

'No, as I said only for you, nobody else.' He kissed her forehead

Regret filled her. Tom and her had killed Mrytle. Her best friend. Then something clicked

'Tom....by killing Mrytle....did you make, a Horcrux?' She asked staring her bloodshot eyes at him

'I believe to have split my soul into my diary.' He looked down at the book.

'Tom this is going over the top. I can't do this' Venus stepped back.

They were murderes.

'Darling, nobody's going to figure it out. I have a plan' he smirked

It was now night time and being prefect means to patrol the corridors. Tom and her came to the bottom steps, they both looked at the door as many teachers came out. But they were helping to carry a covered up Mrytle on a stretcher. Only her single arm hanging out, no life in it whatsoever. Her and Tom kept their eyes on the stretcher, as it passed them. They both then turned back to see Dumbledore.

'Riddle, Ravenclaw' Dumbledore called as they both turned to see him standing, he motioned for them to come up as they both climbed the steps towards him.

'Professor Dumbledore' they both said

'It is not wise to be wandering around this late hour, Tom and Venus' he says

'Yes Professor.' Tom nodded his head

'I-we, we had to see for ourselves if the rumours were true' Venus told Dumbledore

'I'm afraid they are, Venus. They are true' Dumbledore sighs

'And the school aswell? I- I don't have a home to go to they wouldn't really close Hogwarts would they, Professor?' Tom grips Venus's hand

'I understand, Tom. I'm afraid Headmaster Dippet may have no choice.' Dumbledore explains

'But,if it all stopped. If the person responsible was caught...' Venus trailed off

Tom gripped her hand even harder.

Dumbledore's expression turned into suspicion

'Is there something you wish to tell me...?' Dumbledore stepped forward

Tom gulped along with Venus

'No,sir' Tom kept eye contact with Dumbledore.

'Nothing' Venus finished

Dumbledore didn't seem to buy it. He kept looking at them to see if they would trip up. This only made Venus panic.

After a while Dumbledore spoke again

'Very well then, off you go'

They both turned and passed Dumbledore walking swiftly.

'Tom, this has been going on for months! They are going to know it's us. Where are we going?' Venus stated

Yes, they only found Mrytles body like a month after she died, many others have been found dead. Mainly muggles.

'Catching the culprit.' Tom said smirking as they walked towards Hagrid's room.

'Hagrid? Are you serious?' She said in disbelief

'Believe me, this will work' he laughs

They walked down a spiral steps and advanced to a little door at the end of the hallways. Both walking rather fast.

Tom and her both got to the door as Tom pulled his wand out looking around.

He opened the door

'Evening, Hagrid. I'm going to have to turn you in, Hagrid. I don't think you meant it to kill anyone' Tom walked in raising his wand

Venus was in shock. Hagrid wouldn't do such things.

'But you can't. You don't understand' Hagrid objected

'The dead girls parents are coming tomorrow the least Hogwarts could do is make sure the thing that killed it's daughter is slaughtered.' Tom said sternly

'It's wasn't him, Aragog never killed no one. Never!' Hagrid rejected

'Monsters don't make good pets, Hagrid' Tom concluded

'No!' Hagrid shouted

'Stand aside, Hagrid' Tom ordered

' Venus do something! It wasn't Aragog! Tell him' he shouted at Venus. She just stood there, silent

Tom the casted a spell to open the locked crate to release an Acromantula. It then ran out the room as Tom got her  hand and dragged her out of there

'That's settled' he smiled

'Tom this is evil. You just framed Hagrid!' She yanked away from his grip

'Venus, this will all be okay. Don't stress, darling' he pulled her closer

They were now walking back up the spiral stairs and going to the Room of Requirement

They had set basically a purge on Hogwarts. And this was only the beginning.

The beginning of power. Of everything, Venus wanted to relax. But she couldn't knowing she killed her bestfriend with her psycho of a boyfriend

But she liked it. She didn't know why, but she was succumbed to the temptation of evil
