𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 || 𝑇.𝑀.𝑅𝑖𝑑𝑑𝑙𝑒

𝙶𝚛𝚊𝚍𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗

1945

Venus and Tom along with the other seventh years were sat in the Great Hall once more, without any of the other years. They had just finished their last ever lesson, and to Tom and Venus's delight it was Potions. Venus was sitting between Alice and Fleamont who was as excited as she was. All of them had their black pointed hats on, and a robe with all the school colours on it. Everyone shifted their gaze to see Headmaster Dippet come up to the podium.

'Welcome seventh years! Today we will celebrate your last! You have all achieved so much in your years at Hogwarts! Now I will make this quick, please can Head boy and girl join me please' he smiled as her and Tom got up and walked towards Headmaster Dippet. He shook hands with them both. Tom gave his speech first, but Venus could feel Dumbledore eyeing him from afar.

Tom soon stepped down as Venus got her papers out her pocket and began to read, after she heard many claps and cheers, mainly from Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

Slytherin's weren't to pleased. But Venus couldn't care

She smiled and Tom gave her a nod before they went back to their seats

'Well done' Alice smiled to Venus

'Now, when I call your name, you will receive your NEWT exam papers and if you have got honours! Now let's start off with Euphemia Braithwaite' Dipped started

Everyone clapped as the pretty girl went up and got her scroll before bouncing off. Soon everyone went.

'And finally our own Head Girl...Venus Ravenclaw!' Dippet said merrily as many admirers clapped, Slughorn the hardest. Venus rushed to get her exam and he gave her another handshake thanking her, she took the scroll and went towards her friends.

'And our Head Boy, Tom Riddle' Dippet patted his back as he nodded in gratitude, many girls swooned.

Venus clapped along with the girls as she looked at the ring she got.

Soon everyone then undid their scrolls to look at their grades, as expected Venus aced them all. With perfect grades in all!

After everyone gossiped about their scores they all took their hats off a threw them into the air, laughing and smiling.

In the courtyard for the last time the graduates hanged out there. Venus looked around to see many shedding tears and hugging. Venus took in her surroundings replaying every memory she ever shared within the walls of Hogwarts.

Someone tapped her on the back and she saw Tom.

'Hi Tom we made it' she pounced into his arms squeezing him in a hug

He hugged back.

'We did it, darling' he smiled as both of them looked at eachother lovingly

'I can't believe we finally have graduated!' She spun around jumping with glee

'I'll be back here, I've already mentioned this but Dippet told me I could have the spot in a few years as Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor.' He said his jaw clenching

'Well you will be very good as that Professor. But hey! Nothings changed, I'm still better than you at everything' she teased

'Oh I will get you, Ravenclaw!' He folded his arms

'Yeah yeah, whatever you say' she smirked cockily

'Well, you fell inlove first' he held her hand

'But you needed me first' she raised an eyebrow tauntingly

'Yeah, you got me there.' He scoffed

'Who knew Tom gave up so easily' Venus fake gasped

'Oh shut up' he turned away

'I'm playing' she laughed

Soon after the congregation for the last time, they all boarded the boats they had done in first year, which brought tears to many. But she was sharing with Tom, the person she least expected to end up with. But it gave her a sense of realisation, she first went to Hogwarts with her friends but only came back with Tom.

They reached the end of hopped off the boats, along with Professor Diggory, he made us all hitch a ride on the Hogwarts express back to Kings Cross station. The teachers also boarded who bid a good health and happiness in the future.

Tom and her were in a compartment together when Atlantis her cat came onto Tom's face and started to lick it, he was reading a book and looked agitated by the cat.

'Can't you control your cat? That filthy cat came in here and started licking my face! You need to get that cat sorted or just get another one that doesn't ruin my book' he spat trying to get the cat off him

'Well I'm sorry, but you don't have to be so mean about it. Atlantis was only exploring' Venus looked dissatisfied he still hasn't warmed up to Atlantis
He glared at her.

They sat in silence, Venus got Atlantis off his face.

'Your distracting me from my book!' He huffed breaking the tense silence

'Well why don't you quit whining about some stupid book' She cuddled into her cat

'No.' He said before trying to get back to his book

'I was only trying to be nice, it seems that 'nice' is not in your dictionary' Venus cocked her head to the side

'You should get a leash for you cat' he narrowed his eyes at Atlantis

But then it hit them both, they stared at eachother before bursting out laughing, she hasn't actually see Tom laugh that hard.

'T-that reminded me from when we were eleven! We had the same chat' he looked at his fiancé

'It's crazy how fast it changed' she looked at the window

'Yeah, I still hate you' he scoffed getting up and shoving her cat aside sitting next to her, Venus blushed as he put an arm around her. She rested her head upon his shoulder gently.

'I hate you too' she smiled

'My eleven year old self would of killed himself if this was his future'  he broke the comfortable silence

'Believe me, same' she laughed

They were like that the whole way, occasionally some teacher coming in and giving them praise.

Soon Hogwarts Express stopped and they both hopped off, everyone was basically crying. Accept Tom and Venus, who knew they'd see Hogwarts again, soon.

They both looked at the Hogwarts Express leave as they continue their life.

But Hogwarts was never a place to forget, not for Venus anyway. This was a new chapter, with Tom by her side.

What couldn't be better?
