1950

Summer was here, and Venus and Tom we about to go to Albania, and after he had made a Horcrux out of it, he was next going for the locket and the cup. It was risky, but Tom would do anything for power.

They then disapparated and landed in a forest, Venus knew where the diadem was hidden, but didn't tell for if he had found it....this was going to get worse.

They looked around for quite some times, stepping over branches and snapping twigs on the floor. Passing through stinging nettles and bushes, but they still hadn't located the diadem, people say it is lost. But Venus and Helena knew it was not...yet anyway.

She was anxious, more than ever. It was her family heirloom that is made to be a artefact and it be made to be impregnated by the darkest of all magic. This terrified her, her name, well her former name would be a disgrace to Ravenclaw.

They walked around and Tom was getting angry, the forest was huge. It will be like finding a needle in a haystack. They set up a tent for the night. Venus was writing in a diary of some sort. She takes it along with her and hope to bestow it upon anybody who finds it.

Tom was pacing the tent, he was thinking intently of where it could be hidden. Not even his intellect could figure it out.

'We need to find that diadem soon, if not...our plan will be at stake forever. Darling, you are heir to Ravenclaw surly you must know where it is hidden?' He says turning towards the innocent woman

'I have no idea what you mean' she stopped writing looking at him

'Don't deny it. You must know it is here, and you must know where it is located. Don't lie to me, Venus.' He said making Venus feel intimidated

'I-I don't know, I—' she tried to cover up

'No! I know you know! Tell me Venus, you can't fool me you are to daft to even think it. Now tell me where it is' Tom shouted at her

'To ever think I'd tell you where my family heirloom is! You are deluded by evil, Tom! I no longer will help you, and I don't think I will, ever again' she stood up firing back

'Don't you dare say that! Look at you! You helped me already' he came close to her

'Do you even love me? Or are you using me like all your other friends!' She questioned with tears in her eyes

Tom stopped for a moment to look at her teary face. There was a long pause.

'I do.'

'Don't lie to me, I'm not a toy to be played with' she clenched her jaw

Tom didn't know what to think, for once his mind wasn't on horcruxes, it was on what he was feeling

'Have you ever known how much I cared? How much I sacrificed for you!' She told him

'Darling, I do love you but I nee—-

'But your mind is elsewhere from love! I know it, have you ever even thought about anything but power? Or society?' She asked

'My darling, you must forgive me if I am doing you wrong. But if I didn't love you, you wouldn't have that ring on your finger and I wouldn't have my ring on my finger ' he pointed at both their wedding rings

Venus knew wedding rings is a symbol of unity and love. But she had mixed feelings.

'I need to find this diadem, then I'm yours' he kissed her cheek

They both went into the bedroom and got under the covers, she couldn't sleep. She looked at the tent ceiling, wondering, thinking about what damage Tom has done. When will it ever stop? She does not know.

Tom had his hand on her waist as his breath was against her neck. She wanted to sleep but she couldn't until the sun had risen again, they both set out in the forest to look more.

'Can we not use a spell? There are no mudbloods around' Tom scoffed

'Yes, but I don't know' Venus pretended not to know

Tom shrugged it off as they began to walk even more into the depths of the Albanian forest.

Soon after long hours of looking nightfall was closing in.

They took refuge in the tent they had brought with them. This time Venus had gotten much sleep.

They both awoke and set out for another day, they went deeper into the forest than ever it was very dull, it had rained which made it worse.

The mud, their shoes and their clothes near enough wet.

'This is hopeless' Venus sighed

'I do not care, we have to find it' Tom looked around

'It's like your life depends on it' she gasped as her feet began to ache

Soon it was night and Venus was out for a midnight stroll, she was writing in her diary when she came across something glistening in the distance, she squinted her eyes and walked forward to it with ease.

She closed the diary and crouched to look into a crack in a tree trunk, she reached her hand in to retrieve the glistening diadem, her eyes widened. Soon she heard Tom's voice come behind, she panicked and tried to shove the diadem back in and stood up and turned to see him eyeing her suspiciously

'What are you doing?' He asked

'N-nothing just a stroll' she lied not catching his gaze

'Darling, I know when you're lying' he said sternly

'What makes you think that?' She questioned

'You're not looking directly at me' he chuckled

'What do you mean?' She bluffed

'What are you doing behind you? I know you have something. What is it?' He tried to look behind but she blocks his way

'Oh nothing I was looking at little insects you don't see in the Wizarding world' she laughs

He kissed her softly but he turned her body so now he was in her position. He looked down at the tree trunk to see the diadem, he scooped down to pick it up and looked at her

'I was going to tell you, I-I just didn't know when' she stammered

'Oh I love you, darling' he picked her up and spun her around, she laughed. He set her down with the diadem in his hand, he put his free hand on her face and kissed it passionately.

They kissed for some time until they both went back to the tent.

Dawn came again, they were going to go home, Venus was taking in the last of the beautiful atmosphere and the different shades of green. It was mesmerising.

Until Tom and her was packing they saw a muggle, who was passing by. The muggle looked like an explorer

He called out to the pair:

'Oh, you don't happen to know how to get out of this forest?!' He asked

'Yes, I do' Tom smirked getting his wand out

'Avada Kedavra ' he turned to the poor muggle and shot the green killing curse right at the muggles heart.

The random muggle fell to the floor, Venus stood shocked at the poor person and looked at the diadem, it then started to speak Parseltongue. Her worst thought had become reality.
