"Well thank you for asking, I was just checking that boy out" Milo moves back and looks of into the distance where once was a cute looking boy, he sighs dreamily.

But then fingers are in front of his face and they are snapping together obnoxiously, gaining his attention.

He looks back to his friend with a blank face, wondering why he was the way that he was. "Yes?" He questions with a raise of his brow.

"What boy? I see no boy" Milo rolls his eyes and huffs, "well ovbiously not now he left. Anyway the things I would do to him-" Peyton's head tilts sideways, "he is so pretty I would totally fu-" he doesn't finish his sentence as he glances back to Peyton who just blinks.

Like a weird reptile.

Wow, he's been spending too much time with Peyton. Comparing things to animals now.

"Fulfil his needs in a totally innocent and... not 18+ way?" His words get higher in tone with each word, clearly trying to figure out what to say next. He thinks he did a pretty good job at not corrupting his friend so far.

Peyton looks at him like he's secretly judging him but failed to hide it, "but you're 17?" Milo slowly nods at that with his lips in a tight line, "that i am Peyton. That i am." He smiles smugly but can only hope this conversation is over because he has nothing else to offer.

Peyton just stands up and starts walking away, "you're very weird" he states as he walks further away to go back to his house. Milo stands up too, "yeah, I'm the weird one" he rolls his eyes and takes long strides to catch up with the curly haired boy.

Damn, that boy is quite small but he sure can walk quick. Eh guess it's true what they say, gay people do walk fast.

*****

The first day back at college Milo and Peyton both stood in the bathroom in the morning before classes started. Milo was washing his hands before he glanced at Peyton through the mirror, the boy looked really down. And Milo could guess why.

Cole.

He hated that Cole had hurt Peyton so much, and even though they weren't together at the time he still shouldn't have slept with someone else. Especially knowing how emotional Peyton can be.

"I can't believe someone so hot can be so cruel" he stops for a second and pulls a face, "actually you know what. Nevermind, that actually makes perfect sense" he puckers his lips and shrugs as he turns off the tap and spins around to face the brown eyed boy who had a confused look on his face.

"What do you mean?" He questions with furrowed brows as Milo puts his hands under the hand dryer, he replies but because of the noise Peyton couldn't hear a word.

When milo steps away Peyton just blinks at him, "i didn't hear a word of what you just said" Milo scowls at him before leaving the bathroom, Peyton rushing after his friend.

"I said, Erica is cruel because of what she said in the woods. She knew you and Cole were getting close so she was teasing you about her and Cole sleeping together." Peyton furrows his eyebrows more, he didn't think of that. He thought the girl was talking about when her and Cole had a fling ages ago but now he realises that Milo is right. She was probably teasing him about sleeping with Cole not long ago.

It hits him like a ton of bricks, that's why Cole wanted to leave the woods as soon as he saw Erica. He didn't want her telling Peyton about them.

He was too focused on being mad at Cole that he didn't even think of Erica, how she was teasing him and probably laughing about it.

But now for the rest of the day one word was stuck in his mind, Erica. Even at lunch when he sat alone waiting for Milo to finish his lesson he couldn't stop thinking about her.
