Dragon Ball vs Invincible
Connection:
Both are alien warriors who are the father of two sons (Bardock's sons being Son Goku & Raditz and Omni-Man's sons being Invincible/Mark and Kid Omni-Man/Oliver Grayson). One son would become a hero of the universe while the other would die
Their race values power and strength above all else (Saiyans and Viltrumites respectively)
Both belonged to powerful empires who took over entire planets and civilizations The Frieza Empire and The Viltrumite Empire). The contrast is that the Frieza Empire were just a bunch of jerks while Viltrumites believed they were doing the universe a favor by sharing their superiority
Both were formerly loyal servants to these empires, but soon turned on them due to the bonds they had (Bardock did it because of the death of his team and Omni-Man did it because of his family on Earth)
Both their home planets were destroyed (Planet Vegeta for Bardock and Viltrum for Omni-Man). The contrast is that Bardock was trying to save it while Omniman destroyed his planet
Both would eventually die to the rulers of their empires (Lord Frieza and General Thragg respectively)
Both die with faith in the future and their sons (Bardock foresaw that Goku would beat Frieza whereas Omni-Man entrusted the future of the empire to Mark)
