Attack on Titan vs Tokyo Ghoul

Both are teenagers who lived in a world where humans are threatened by man-eating monsters (Titans to Eren and Ghouls to Ken)
Both originally started out as wanting to fight for humanity until they had a traumatizing experience that has them become said monster
Both are eventually forced to become said monster to fight their oppressors
Both as a result proceeded to lose many people close to them (Eren discards his friends to perpetuate war against the rest of the world while Ken's lost several people he loves in front of his eyes by Furuta)
Both also have kill hundreds of thousands of people in a rampage as a Kaiju monstrosity that turn other people into Titans and Ghouls respectively (Founding Titan for Eren and Dragon Ghoul for Ken)
