Connection:
Both are short, but extremely powerful, skilled and wise men
Both are leaders of the light side of an endless war between the light and the darkness who wield blades unique to their universes (The Lightsaber and Keyblade, respectively)
Both also have guilt towards the loss of their comrades after a tragedy which results in them being the only survivors and overcame that feeling by teaching the next generation.
