The limits set by Allah in Islam; whether they're in our personal day to day dealings with family and others, or with our own being, are not sent to restrict us but only meant to dictate our actions in a way which not only protects us and saves us from any hurt or humiliation, but also helps us ordain our lives in ways which brings us the maximum benefit.
The more we abide by His hudods and commandments, the greater will be our fortune. However, if we break His hududs, humiliation becomes our inevitable fate.
