"Oh, that's why." Jim pointed.

"Quick; grab a lemon and use it as a car shield!" Rush suggested.

"Isn't that ethically questionable at best?!" Cal questioned.

"Do you have any better ideas?" Rush replied.

"...no." Cal sighed.

"Fire!" Devon ordered.

The henchman manning the gun turned it on. It began to spray the room with a petrifying amount of bullets – all spraying against their own henchmen as Rush, Cal and Jim hid behind them.

"You fool! You're killing our own men!" Devon barked.

"Sorry, boss!" the henchman apologized.

"You will be!" Devon barked.

"Stop blaming your own men for your shortcomings!" Rush blurted out.

"Yeah! What he said..." Jim echoed.

"Agh! I've had it with you smarty tires. Light up the whole room, boys!" Devon barked.

"But our men are all in here!" the henchman reminded.

"I don't care! Light it up!" Devon repeated.

"Lighting it up!" the henchman acknowledged.

Gunfire shredded the windows of the control room like a knife through butter, sending glass flying into the crematorium.

Meanwhile, in the crematorium room below...

"You fools! What are you doing?!" Nettes exclaimed.

"We could use a bit of backup here!" Devon yelled out.

"Us, too," Cal exclaimed.

"Quiet you!" Devon replied.

"Just do your damn job! I'm doing mine." Nettes mocked.

"Oh, real smooth. You know, you're the one who hired us." Devon berated.

"Ignoring you now. Now, where were we?" Nettes said.

"Sending us to our deaths?" Demetria reminded.

"Ah, yes! Thank you for reminding me." Nettes thanked.

"Never!" Demetria scowled.

"Cheer up, Piston Cup. You know..." Nettes said.

"We should have never accepted your offer!" Devon interjected.

"Stop interrupting! You'll only make this worse!" Nettes barked.

"Oh, boohoo!" Devon mocked.

"Don't make me dock your pay!" Nettes threatened.

"You already signed a contract to pay us, you idiot." Devon laughed.

"Ehem... it appears that you'd be right." Nettes corrected.

"Agh, when will this end..." Demetria sighed.

"It'll end when I say so!" Nettes barked.

"Damnit, I'm going to die of boredom before I die in this crematorium!" Demetria exclaimed.

"Well, why don't we speed that up, hmm?!" Nettes complied.

"Demetria!!" Dash screamed.

"I'm sorry, you're awake now?!" Demetria asked.

"I've been trying to stay awake here the whole time. I'm dying if you haven't noticed!!" Dash barked.
