???: C'MON! HURRY! THEY'RE COMING!

????: I AM! BUT ONE OF THE SUPID MONSTERS BIT ME!

???: THERE'S NO TIME TO WORRY ABOUT THAT! WE HAVE TO GET THEM TO THE BOX!

Kris: (What the... where am I?)

???: Shhh, it's ok, don't be scared, you'll wake up in a happier place, and someone will find you, both of you.

????: Here we are, it's going to be ok you two, you're going to live your lives in safety, where you won't have to worry about anything, goodbye, we love you.

Kris woke up and sat up disturbing Ralsei who was just cuddling him.

Ralsei: Kris? Are you ok?

Kris:... No...

Ralsei: What's wrong?

Kris:... The past... it's still in my mind...

Ralsei: Lie back down.

Kris led back down and went back to cuddling Ralsei.

Ralsei: I know it's hard for you to forget about the past, and I know you're trying your best, but you have to forget.

Kris: No... it wasn't of the dead bodies... it was something else...

Ralsei: What was it?

Kris: I was just in this basket... and I was just a baby... and I heard two people shouting... then they put me and another baby in a box and said their goodbyes.

Ralsei: Oh...

Kris: I think they were my parents, Ralsei...

Ralsei: I think so too.

Kris: I know I have a problem with the past, but this is getting really bad, someone must be putting things into my head, because there's no way I could remember that.

Ralsei:...

Kris: It's really annoying me, on one hand I want to find out who's doing this but on the other hand I don't want to look at my past.

Ralsei: I need to tell you something, but i'll have to whisper it to you.

Ralsei then whispered to Kris what had happened when they were asleep and what the ghosts had said.

Kris: Oh, so it's not him, it's HIM that's doing this.

Ralsei: Yes.

Kris: I thought he was on our side tho.

Ralsei: So did I, but we have to stay quiet until we can do something about him.

Kris: Ok, got it, continue with life, I can do that.

Ralsei: Yeah, we just continue with how things are going.

Kris: I kind of feel bad for Gaster now, if he made him do that.

Ralsei: That's why we have to stop him.

Kris: Ralsei, i'm about to say something I thought I would never say.

Ralsei: What's that?

Kris: You have books and scrolls about these types of things right?

Ralsei: Yeah, why?

Kris: Then let's do some research, let's see if we can set Gaster free and stop him.

Ralsei: R-Really? Ok!

They stop cuddling and walk to Ralsei's library he had full of old books and scrolls. They start to look through all of them trying to find anything that can help free Gaster from the Writer's grasp. Kris finally finds an old book on spells and takes it over to Ralsei, they look at the chapter selector and see something about boss monsters.
