"So I have decided to trust you."

"I am your GRANDMOTHER."

"P—p----poor ---poor---poor decision," Ev's dad says, as he swings them around in a circle like an aero plane. You know. Like dads do with their seven year olds. I didn't have a dad when I seven so I wouldn't know that.

"If you think you know where my dad is, we'll go," I say, folding my arms, "I'll go. But they come with us. I'm already breaking my promise to stay here."

Ev's dad shrugs. We, by we I mean me, I, have mostly picked up the living room and our captives are duct taped up in the living room.

"All right then, come along," filling a coffee cup with the last of her margherita thing.

"How do you know where my dad is?" I ask.

"We are going to use an age old method that is 100% effective in finding your father, baby. I call it 'follow the screams'."
