Cody PoV

"Cody!" masiglang tawag sa akin ni veronica nang dumating na ako sa bar. "Masaya ako na nakapunta ka..."

Tinanggap ko ang alak at uminom ng konti habang nakatingin ako sa paligid, the bar still look the same but the owner changed. Malakas ang musika at halos lahat ng tao ay nasa dance floor, I wasn't really into bars for the past years and I've been avoiding it but I'll make this event an exception, after all kilala ko si Veronica and she invited me here so it'll be bad to say no to a long time friend.

"Kumusta ka na?"

I was surprised of presence when she came back after talking with her guest. "I'm doing good."

"I know, dahil nakikita ko naman 'yun ngayon pero naaalala mo ba siya?"

A sad smile crept to my lips already knowing who she was describing. "Oo at walang araw, buwan o taon na hindi ko iniisip at hinahanap-hanap ang babaeng mahal na mahal ko pero siguro mas mabuting ganito. When she was with me I was a mess and I couldn't stand seeing her cry all over again because of me."

Naging tahimik ang buong paligid at para bang walang musika na kanina pa namin naririnig, naging manhid bigla ang aking pandinig. Only the memory of me and holiday gives that after the summer there's always winter at the end.

"I don't understand you Cody, she wanted you back and yet you pushed her?" Veronica said and I get it why she doesn't and all I could reply to her is a stretch of a smile.

The night was short, victory party ng team ni veronica kaya niya ako inimbita dahil parte narin daw ako sa success nila, but all I did in that party was to sit all hours and burn my thighs for not moving an inch. And it would be a lie if I say I had fun, but I was accompanied that's all matter.

I slid my card and the door of my condo unit automatically opened, the lights turned on by itself. I change my clothes and put it on the laundry. Pumasok ako sa banyo at nag shower, nagsipilyo at pagkatapos ay nagbihis ng white t-shirt and boxer but sometimes I don't wear any shirts while sleeping, I'm comfortable without it.

Pumunta ako ng kusina upang uminom ng warm water after that pumunta ako sa kwarto upang matulog. Gumising ako ng maaga at ginawa ang aking dapat gawin, pagkatapos ay minaneho ko ang sasakyan papunta sa opisina. After reading some contracts and signing some of it, pumasok ang aking sekretarya upang sabihin na andito si shion kasama ang fiancee niya at naghihintay sila sa meeting room. I shook my head and walk towards the meeting room but once I entered they look odd.

"What?"

Shion looked at his bride, back to mine. "'Wag kang mag-aalala tiff, andito ako." he whispered but enough to make me hear him.

My left brows arched up. "Is there a problem?"

"Can you go to maldives?" tiffany, shion's fiance suddenly ask.

"What? Bakit naman ako pupunta duon---" napahinto ako sa susunod kong sasabihin nang magsalita ulit si Tiffany.
