Cody PoV

I’m not holding any equipment to fight delvin, I know I can knock him down with my fists. Talagang sa gymnasium niya piniling magkasakitan dahil wala siyang tiwala sa lugar na pipiliin ko, I know why he chose the gym dahil andito si holiday. But a unexpected person came rushing to my direction and hugged me with desperation.

“Please I know ginagawa mo lang ‘to upang pagselosin ako Cody, Oo! Nagseselos na ako kaya break up with her and come back to me!” she said begging with tears.

I stared at her again. I once hated to see those eyes water but now I don’t care anymore. Hindi ko siya mapapatawad sa gagawin niya kay holiday dahil lang sa selos. After what she said in the cafeteria makes my blood boil, why do she keep bringing up our past in front of my girl?

“Umalis ka na Nicole.” while I  stared at delvin's smug rascal look.

Narinig ko ang mahinang pagtawa ni Nicole. “Ang dali lang panahon nuh? Parang ikaw 'yung nagmamakaawa sa akin nuon, na huwag kitang iwan, Ngayon...” baliw siyang tumawa at umiyak. “you don’t know what your mother did to me! Everyday I am tortured with that electrifying thing they put on my head  because that’s the only thing they know that will cure me, Pero wala akong sakit Cody! Hindi ako baliw, Nakakapagisip ako ng tama pero nababaliw ako dahil sa ginagawa ng mommy mo sa akin! I tried coming back to you again but your mother did those things to me!” she cried.

"I am sorry for what my mother did to you nicole. She was driven by anger for what happened to me. But all of this happen because of me, If pumunta ako sa bar on time nuon, siguro walang nangyari sayo but not meeting holiday feels like I'm going to regret this life. So I am sorry if I’m not choosing you this time because my happiness isn’t you, her name is Holiday Ricijeo." siya lang ang mamahalin ko.

Mas lalong umiyak si Nicole at yinakap ako, pero naputol ang ito dahil sa pagtawa ni Delvin. I look at him with dead eyes. “What the fuck are you laughing for?”

“Pfft, you really don’t know a thing? N'e hindi ba sumagi sa isip mong tingnan ang CCTV footage sa gabing 'yun?” he said smirking interestingly.

Both me and Nicole look at delvin. “Who are you at a-anong ibig mong sabihin? Walang nakuhang footage dahil binura 'to!” nicole demand with fuming anger.

“Hmm, maybe binura ko dahil gusto ko ng gulo?” he laugh crazily.

I clenched my jaw. “Spill the fucking bean, bastard.”

“I didn’t know we were having a revelation party before breaking our bones here but I’m glad that I can still remember that day clear.” He played with his daggers before continuing what he’s about to say. “the club owner is a friend of mine, I ask him to let me see the CCTV footage…” lumipat ang mga mata niya sakin at nagtagal kay nicole.  “Sa gabing may nangyari sayo, andon si holiday ricijeo and you know what’s more interesting? Si holiday sana ang maaksidenti sa gabing 'yun, if that Andrada didn’t save her maybe nagkapalit sila ng posisyon ni nicole.”

A moment of silence flew above us, nabasag lamang ito dahil umiyak at sumigaw si Nicole, dahil sa galit at lungkot habang may inaalala. She looked at me and pointed her finger infront of my face.

“She took you away from me! She’s fake! Alam ko sinadya niyang gawin 'yun para makuha ka niya sa akin!” she spat angrily and covered her ears while murmuring. “tama, aagawin niya si Cody sa akin!”

I couldn’t accept all the information I learn today. What the fvcked!? The guy who save my future wife turns to be the guy who maltreated my ex.

Huminto kaming lahat dahil biglang bumukas ang pintoan at iniluwa nito si holiday. She look dumbfounded at walang alam kundi nakatingin lang sa akin at Nicole. I looked at her again after what Nicole angrily said those condition to my fiancee. Fucked! I swear if you break up with me I will file our wedding certificate, if I need to fake your signature just so you could be with me, gagawin ko. Yes I am that selfish when it comes to you, I love you so much more than I love my own life.

Holiday PoV

“If you are really sorry then break up with him Only by that I will forgive you holiday.”

Hindi ko magawang tingnan si Nicole pagkatapos niyang sabihin ang hinihiling niyang kapalit, lumipat ang aking mga mata kay Cody na ngayon nakatitig sa akin na may pagamamakaawa, na wa'g ko siyang bitiwan at iwanan.

“I’m sorry…” I saw how devasted and anxious he was after he hearing my unfinished words.

“N-no, please… baby don’t leave…”

Of course I won’t leave him! I’ve been in storm sailing on my own leaving him alone, running away alone. Ayaw ko nang bumalik sa dati na parati akong tumatakas dahil 'yun ang madaling paraan, Pero hindi ko man lang naisip kung madali bang takasan ang lalaking nagpapasaya ng buhay ko. I’ve been running away without knowing I am also running away from my happiness.

I won’t leave you. Humihingi lamang ako ng patawad dahil naging maramot ako, Akala ko pag iniwan kita ‘yun lang ang paraan para maligtas at mailayo ka sa mundo ko, but then I find out the truth. My boyfriend---Fiancee, is actually a gangster, a leader and my love.

“I’m sorry for being selfish but this time I won’t.” I said holding our hands tighter.

Bumaling ako kay Nicole na ngayon nakatingin din sa akin, puno ng mga luha ang mga mata. I’m sorry dahil nangyari sayo 'yun, kung ako ang nakainom ng alak, masaya sana kayong dalawa ni Cody ngayon. Selfish na kung selfish but I won’t leave Cody even if I won’t have your forgiveness I rather live without it. Call me heartless, madamot pero hindi ko iiwanan ang lalaking mahal ko.

“Hindi ko siya iiwanan.” I bravely spoke looking straight into her eyes without fear while holding the man I cherish and love the most.

“You’re so selfish! Malaki ba ang hinihingi kong kapalit sa kapatawaran na gusto ko!? Am I asking you too much to let him go---”

“Yes!” I snapped. “hindi ko magawa ang gusto mo nicole, hate me eternally but I won’t leave him…” bumaling ako kay Cody na ngayon namumungay ang mga matang nakatitig sa akin. “No more running I’m not leaving him with or without your forgiveness.”
