"What the fuck.. Did you just call me?" Her swords clattered at her sides, her voice quivering in anger. 'I knew it. I knew it.' Adleth thought.

"What?" Ammalia chuckled, Vestus ran past her on the left charging at the giant he was currently gutting. "Is something wrong, Ms. Meliamne?" No one. No one knew it. Not even the party she was in, not the numerous idiots who were constantly clambering after her when she ran their goods. It's not like it meant anything, it was just a last name. She wasn't some great noble lineage or secretly Andraste's fucking kid. Though, it was still comforting that normally people didn't know it. "Hm?" The noblewoman smiled walking around her in a circle. Above Riu was fighting the shit head elf boy Nelius. Corellon, she hated the way Ammalia stared at her. Those dark unwavering eyes, the stuck-up pretentious stare of superiority. It was like a beholder's gaze. Ugh her shoulders shivered. The noble jackass was dressed in the same crimson cloaks as everyone else, however, her face had a shattered gold mask. Distinctly broken with three spear prong strikes.

Adleth licked her teeth, she would thank the half-elf later. "You did your research on us." She flipped her short swords in hand, admiring the new silver edges courtesy of Vestus. Spinning them on the rings within the handles the two of them paced around one another. Three cultists, that's what she was contending with, three cultists to her back. Vaelle in the distance talking to.. Ugh. She turned her nose up at the vile burning carcass of purple fire. There was no aiding her new friend, not while the lady of the house was standing right there.

"Of course we did!" Ammalia raised a gloved hand over her cruel smile. Both the woman's arms were encased in silver metal gauntlets glowing with red arcane energy. Fuckkk she was so fucking tired of magic, guns, and fucking weird crazy shit. Who thought demons were a good idea? Why couldn't she just fight some fuckers with swords? Adleth shook her head, it didn't matter, Ammalia was the one she wanted to gut. Iliris.. Her godchild was upstairs poisoned by these monsters. "After our initial scuffle with you, and your.. Friend Estral." Ammalia smiled mentioning Asher's real name. "We tasked our graceful members with investigating you all.. I know who you are; Adleth Meliamne." It stung, every time she said her name it stung. The name meant nothing besides animosity, to protect those she cared about, though it stopped meaning even that a long time ago. "I arranged for your godchild to be here fo-"

*Steehcc*

The remnants of Ammalia's mask fell to the ground with a deep ruby colored scar appearing on the woman's face. A result of Adleth's left sword slicing through the air faster than anyone around could react. She spun her right sword over walking backward into a cultist's neck. The movements were swift, and without warning.

"Why..?" Her voice quivered, 'I can't lose my cool..' She thought. Adleth spun her blades out of the cultist tearing his skull apart with the rotation. Readying them for action, if they thought this was a standoff. Then they were dead wrong. "Why the fuck are you doing this?" For the first time in days, she felt her chest release a shred of stress. It sucked her soul down wondering over and over why this dumb fucking noble would do such an action. Even when she told Vaelle there might be others like her, she didnt really care, but now.. Some small hateful part of her wanted to know. "For money? For pride? Power? The hell gets into a dumb bitch like you to sign a pact with the devil? To put my godson's life at risk!" She let out every ounce of pent-up anger she had.

"Power?!" The lady choked out angrily. She knew she saw anger and sorrow on the mothers face. "I-I did this to restore my home! To save my children!" 'What?' Adleth's eyes narrowed, she ducked when one of the cultists rushed her, Ammalia still stayed back. Flipping under the poor shit's legs she sliced him open above the knee, easily taking the leg off. Two swords pushed through his back; ending him.
