Demigods, Half-bloods, Heroes.

Whichever name you know us by, you have heard about many of us.

You've heard about Annabeth Chase, Luke Castellan, and Thalia Grace, how they were led to camp half-blood by their satyr protector Grover Underwood and how they fought the cyclops on half-blood hill and how Thalia risked her life to save everyone and was turned into a tree by her father Zeus to save her life and give a barrier to camp half-blood to help protect everyone in it.

You've heard about Percy Jackson and how he and his Sally Jackson mom were led to camp some years later also by Grover Underwood and how Percy fought and killed the minotaur

You've heard about how Jason Grace, Piper McLean, and Leo Valdez fought off storm spirits with the help of their satyr protector Gleeson Hedge and how Annabeth Chase and Butch Walker came on a flying chariot

You've heard about Nico Di Angelo and how he came to camp with his sister Bianca. A story talked about a lot in cabin 7. I mean, it's not every day that two new half-bloods come crashing into camp on your father's sun chariot. I now thank my dad for that day every time I give him a burnt offering because that was the day I first saw my current boyfriend.

Wait, are you writing everything I say down?
Gods, this is so embarrassing. I hope Nico never reads this.

You don't have to write that down, could you just-

Well yeah, I agreed to tell my story, but I didn't know you'd write everything down.

Are you only writing what I'm saying?

Okay, okay, I'll get back to telling the story, but could you edit out the part about Nico?

I thought I'd try. Anyway, where was I?

Right, there are many stories you have heard about half-bloods and how they made it to camp, but there are some you have yet to hear.

Hi, My name is Will Solace, I'm a demigod child of Apollo, Counselor of cabin seven, and boyfriend to Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades, and this is the story of my journey to camp and how I found out who I was

Now To tell you the story, we have to go back many years to when I was only 9.

I went outside on the back porch and watched the sunrise in the sky.

"Morning, Dad" I said as the sun lit up the morning sky. Since before I could remember, my mom had told me that my father was in every sunrise and every sunset. I didn't know what she meant by it, but because she had said that, I liked to watch the sunrise and set and say hello to my father as it did, hoping one day he would come home and say good morning or good night back to me.

"Watching the sunrise?" Mom asked, and I looked back at her as she walked out the back door.

My mother had light caramel-colored hair that hung just below her shoulders and pale green eyes. At the moment, she was wearing a simple soft gray t-shirt and blue jeans.

"Morning, Mom" I said with a smile as she sat down next to me and pulled me into a side hug

"Morning, Will" Mom said.

We sat there for a moment contently before Mom spoke up

"Breakfast is ready if you want to head in" Mom said

"Sure" I said.

We both got up and walked inside. I sat down at the dining table as Mom dished up the food and then placed it down in front of me, along with a drink

"Thanks" I said

For breakfast, we had breakfast tacos which consisted of scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon. To drink, we had sweet tea.

"Did you finish all your homework?" Mom asked as she sat down at the table with her plate

"Yeah, I finished last night" I said

"Have you packed everything you need for the trip?" Mom asked

My mother was a single mom who was an alt-country singer, and every now and again, she went on tour, and I would go with her, which I really didn't mind. It was just hard sometimes to go to a new school that I didn't know

"I almost have everything packed" I said

"Will, we only have three more days" Mom said

"I know," I said looking down at my food

"Do you not want to go?" Mom asked

"No, I want to go. I like seeing you sing" I said with a smile.

"Like this?" Mom asked before she sang here comes the sun as badly as she could, which made me laugh

"Alright, let's get you to school." Mom said after we finished eating our breakfast and put the dishes in the dishwasher

"It's a little warm out today. Are you sure you want to wear long sleeves?" Mom asked, looking at my outfit of choice as we were about to walk out the door.

I was wearing khaki cargo shorts and white tennis shoes with a long-sleeved dark blue sweater.

"It-It makes me feel comfortable" I said and my gave me a worried look but then nodded and walked out.

As Mom drove to school, we turned the radio on, and as it played, we sang along to every song we knew.

"Here we are" Mom said, and she pulled up to the school and turned the radio down.

"Have a good day at school. Stay safe" Mom said as I got out of the car

"I Will" I said

"I love you!" Mom yelled, and I hoped no one heard

"I love you too" I said in a low voice before walking into the school.

As soon as I got in, I was greeted by Hank and Toby, the two people I like the least at school

Hank was the kind of kid you could see being a football player when he got older with the way he was built. He had brown curly hair and green eyes. he was wearing a red polo shirt with dark blue horizontal stripes edged in white and a pair of dark blue jeans with black and white tennis shoes

Toby had a build that looked like Hank's if he had had one too many cheeseburgers. He had dirty blonde hair and brown eye. He was wearing a blue Thor shirt with brown jeans and black tennis shoes

"Morning, William" Hank said in a mocking tone as he walked up to me

"Did you say I love you back to your mama?" Toby asked as he stood beside Hank and blocked my way down the hall.

"Just leave me alone" I said

"What's with the ugly outfit?" Toby asked

"Yeah, who wears long sleeves in this weather?" Hank asked

"Can I just go to class?" I asked

"Don't you need Mama to walk you there?" Hank asked

"Unlike you, I'm a big boy, so I can walk by myself" I said without thinking, and in the same mocking tone he had just used on me. Then I pushed them out of the way and walked past them and into class. I knew I was going to regret that decision later.

Our first class for the day was Language Arts, the class I was the worst at.

The Teacher, Mr. Smith, gave us what he called a simple task to read a story and then write what we had learned from it. I'm sure it was a simple task for all the other kids, but I kept writing letters backward and messing up on spelling words since I was dyslexic, so when the grades came around, I got a D-.
