11. Is it really at first sight? (Lee Chaeyeon)

This is a two part series  I kind of went overboard with this one

People have always claimed that love at first sight exists. It may happen to anyone at any moment in time. You may see the love of your life waiting for the next bust to arrive, buying their favorite ice cream, working at your favorite cafe shop or inside the dance room. You may never know when the love of your life will appear in front of you, but a question still remains;

Is it really at first sight?

"Really (Y/N) you chickened out again today?" Ryujin says in an annoyed tone before taking a bite of her pork katsu.

"Give him a break Ryujinnie, (Y/N) just wants to have a better chance," Chaeryeong says and before Ryujin could even retort the red haired girl forcefully places a straw in her mouth.

"Ryujin is right Chaeryeong, I'm nothing but a coward," you say as you put your head down on the table while sighing in defeat. Chaeryeong pats the top of your head to comfort you. You stay in that position for a while before Ryujin smacks you in the head, making you look up at the girl. "What was that for?" You say annoyingly , but Ryujin jerks her head to the right making you look in that direction. Your eyes widen when you realize who it was. For you she was the most beautiful girl your eyes have ever gazed upon. She is sitting with her eleven other friends and it looks like she is having fun with them. Of course the girl you can't keep your eyes on is the one and only; 

Lee Chaeyeon.

You first saw Chaeyeon when you were wandering around the campus and you happened to stumble upon the practice room, and when you opened the door it was as if you were placed in a trance. You can't keep your eyes off the girl dancing in the middle, the way she moved to the beat, to her sharp and precise movements and to the parts where she showcased her flexibility. You didn't realize you were staring for too long when she suddenly called your attention.

 You embarrassingly flinched really hard before apologizing that you were disturbing her practice. She asked you why you were there, and you told her that you were just looking around campus when you suddenly stumbled upon this room. She then flashed you a smile and then it felt like every movie cliche where time seemed to move slower. After that you both introduced yourselves to each other and started to talk until Chaeyeon asked you something.

"Do you want to join the dance club?"

"But I don't know how to dance," you shyly say and you are expecting a laugh but instead you see her come closer to you and she leans in closer to your face. You two are extremely close and you feel your face blush.

"I didn't ask if you know how to dance. I asked if you want to join," Chaeyeon says and your body seems to have a mind of its own and you nod. 

Going back to the present, you continue to admire Chaeyeon before you feel someone kick your shin making you yelp in pain. This catches the attention of the people around you and you bow in apology for the noise. As you are sitting back down you make eye contact with Chaeyeon, making you blush uncontrollably. She has a concerned look on her face as she gestures a thumbs up and you slightly nod in response telling her that you are alright.
