On Sunday morning, the sky was dark and gloomy. It was lightly raining, though it seemed like it could start pouring down at any moment.

Jiang Yao hadn't slept very well and he even woke up very early, but when he got up and looked at the bed, there was surprisingly no one there.

He jumped to his feet.

Before even thinking, he pulled on his clothes and rushed out while putting a rain jacket on. Just as he opened the door, he ran into Yin Che.

"What are you doing?"

Jiang Yao instantly heaved a sigh of relief. "There you are. Where did you go?"

"Where else could I have gone." Yin Che walked into the room and put the breakfast he'd just bought on the desk. "Here, I wanted to repay you for your care yesterday."

It was from the same congee shop as yesterday. He'd bought congee with minced pork and preserved egg, along with meat buns steaming hot right out of the oven.

Jiang Yao finished washing up and sat down to eat with him. "What's with this 'repay'? Your boyfriend taking care of you is how it should be."

Yin Che propped his head up on his hand and narrowed his eyes at him. "Not only taking care of me, but also taking care of other people, right?"

Jiang Yao looked startled. "What does that mean?"

Yin Che clicked on the post from last night, scrolled down to the photo, and put the phone directly in front of him. "Care to explain?"

Jiang Yao took a glance and then started in shock. "Fuck! Listen to my explanation!"

"Mhm, I'm listening."

"I was coming back from the athletic field yesterday when I happened to come across her. She also didn't return home this weekend. Then we talked together about your di. She was feeling a little sad, so I consoled her, that's all."

This explanation was reasonable and acceptable.

"Alright, I understand." Yin Che bowed his head and continued to eat his congee.

"......that's it?"

"What else?"

"I thought you'd get angry."

"You didn't do anything to offend me, why would I get angry?"

Jiang Yao smiled. "You trust me so much, I'm touched."

"As you should be. You're welcome, boyfriend," Yin Che said calmly and coolly, "You already used that suppressant, so I think you don't have any intentions of hooking up with some omega."

"Of course."

"However, your boyfriend is in a bit of a bad mood." Yin Che rapped on the desk. "Take out your phone and take a group photo with me. Post it in the group chat and make Zhang Ke and the others shut up."

"That's not a good idea......"

Yin Che paused with the spoon in the air and tilted his head. "Didn't you promise me?"

Jiang Yao scratched at his scalp, struggling a bit to say it, "I thought it over some more after that. If it's posted in the group chat, Zhang Ke will definitely spread it around to everyone. If it's accidentally passed to the laoshi and then to my dad......it wouldn't be good."

Yin Che didn't understand at all, "What wouldn't be good about it?"

"My dad, he has a really violent temper. Plus, I caused a lot of trouble in Dong Cheng before. He forbade me from dating in high school, afraid that I'd bring trouble to other people."
