Jiang Yao had to stay up until 1 A.M. to finish the tasks assigned by their math teacher. Each of the two math assignments took an hour and the self-reflections took two hours.

Partway through, he went over to the dorm next door and asked for outside assistance, "Since Ge is helping you write your self-reflection, you should also help me come up with some ideas. I'm really struggling to write it."

With a wooden expression, Yin Che folded an origami star, "Aren't you writing it as my substitute? You backing out?"

Cold and detached, merciless, and inhuman.

Jiang Yao said, "For better or worse, you're now the other party in the rumors about my love life, can't you show me a little more care and concern?"

With a flick of his hand, Yin Che tossed the origami star into the jar, which was already half full. Then he stood up, pushed the math papers into his hands, and kicked Jiang Yao out of his room.

The next day, the school held a health check-up.

It was specially arranged to take place before the sports competition to keep students from having unexpected accidents during the event, especially in the long-distance running events.

Every year, there would inevitably be a few 'heroes' who overestimated their abilities and would run until they puked.

Yup sounds like my crush in 6th grade.

As the class monitor, Chen YingYing specially warned the few delicate omegas and also said to the one delicate alpha, "Han Meng, get checked out properly, okay? If it's no good, don't take the field, so we can avoid me having to carry you off again."

Han Meng replied, "Don't you worry, I've been training all week and I don't even gasp for air anymore. First place can only go to me."

Chen YingYing reluctantly had to trust him.

During the third class of the morning, self-study, all the students in Class 1 were to line up in the hallway and follow Lao Wu to the school doctor.

Jiang Yao looked all around and said, "Where's my deskmate? Zhou HaoLiang, have you seen my deskmate?"

Zhou HaoLiang, who sat at the desks in front of him, turned his head, "Ge, how would I know, I don't have eyes in the back of my head."

Besides, the one who sat behind him was the school's infamous dangerous guy, who would dare to look back at him? If their eyes made contact and the other said 'what are you looking at?', how could he reply?

Jiang Yao figured that Yin Che had gone to the bathroom and would come back later. Without thinking about it any further, he followed the crowd and left the classroom.

Even after he finished his physical examination, put his clothes back on, and came out of the booth, he still didn't see hide or hair of Yin Che. A little concerned, he grabbed the conveniently passing Zhang Ke and asked, "Have you seen my deskmate?"

"Him? He should've gone to the infirmary for an individual check-up, just like last year."

"Why is he examined individually?"

"He's from a life of privilege, the service is naturally better than what we commoners get." Zhang Ke shrugged and went to get his eyesight checked.

Jiang Yao thought to himself, my father donated 10 million, why don't I have that privilege? Besides, aren't all health check-ups the same? Unless there's something unusual...... Wait, does that brat actually have some sort of unmentionable illness that he doesn't want to be discovered?
