"AESPA DAVINO, Mr. Z'Montemayor's Secretary." The blonde short-haired girl introduced.
All of the ladies are in a fancy lounge, eating and feeling the sea breeze. While the boys stayed in the cottage together with Treasure, talking and messing around, no surprise to that. Kumakain na silang lahat ngayon.
"Oh..." Natigil si Uzziah sa pagkain. "The bossy secretary?"
All the girls gasped but she didn't budge there, instead, she continued. "Zheorem's words, not mine." She shrugged her shoulders as she resumed eating.
"My boss told you that?" Aespa's eyes were twitching.
"Like complaining in some things, objecting against him everytime and scolding him when he is late? No, he didn't say that to me," she sarcastically stated.
Napabuntong-hininga lang si Aespa sa tinuran niya. "Sino hindi magiging bossy kung siya ay palaging late dahil panay pambababae tuwing gabi, puyat pa sa umaga at kung minsan natutulog pa sa opisina. May mga dokumento at papeles pa nga na hindi niya pa na pirmahan. Kung nag-a-annouce naman ako ng schedule niya hindi nakikinig. Kung alam mo lang napakatamad niyan." Mahabang pagkasabi nito.
"In short, he's a pain in the ass?" Para chuckled.
"Yes. Ewan ko nga kung sino ba talaga boss sa aming dalawa, ako ba o siya."
"I see you stand like a mother out there. A stressed mother to be precise."
"A mother? That's crazy, haha."
She can tell she already saw Aespa somewhere. Her face seems familiar, she just can't pinpoint who was it. Makakalimutin kasi talaga siya sa mukha ng tao.
"Gusto mo pa, Linnea? Kuha ka pa, marami pa roon," rinig niyang boses ni Para sa kabilang lounge na katabi lang nila.
"Busog na ako. Ikaw na lang," sagot ng babae.
Titig na titig siya rito na para bang nangingilatis. At hindi naman nagtagal ay nahuli siya nitong nakatitig.
"Linnea Behamfil." The girl introduced then give her a smile.
The girl's beauty is out of the world, she'd admit that the girl's vibe seems formal and reserved. And that's what makes her curious about her.
"What's your job?" Deritsahan niyang tanong.
"Personal assistant slash bodyguard," Linnea answered.
"Uh... Your guarding my bestfriend now?" She haltingly asked that but Linnea tittered.
Tumingin ito kay Para bago sumagot. "Nah, wala akong trabaho sa ngayon, inimbita lang ako ni Para dahil nahihiya raw siya."
Her face wrinkled in disbelief. "'yan mahihiya? E mas makapal pa nga mukha niyan kesa sa kalyo sa palad."
Something's really odd. Am I missing something? Para is hiding something from me.
"Is there something you want me to know, Para?"
"What? Uhm... Not really, to be honest."
But It's clear that Para wants to tell her but something is stopping her.
"Gutom pa pala ako, Para. Samahan mo ako kumuha ng pagkain." Bago pa makakuha ng oras si Para na sumagot ay hintak na ito ni Linnea pabalik sa cottage.
Nang makalayo, si naman Aespa ay tumabi sa kaniya. "She's your bestfriend?"
"Yeah, why?"
"She's very gorgeous, maybe that's why my boss liked her alot. They're super cute together." Aespa giggled.
