The next morning began with a fresh start for everyone in the Park Mansion. Jungkook and Sang spent their breakfast time with their hyungs, laughing and teasing each other.
Afterward, Jungkook went to the University with his elder brother. He didn't want to use the car Naam-gil had allotted for him because he wanted to spend more time with his cousin.
After reaching the University, Jungkook went to the library to spend his free time. Until a day ago, he would have preferred to spend every free moment following Taehyung everywhere. But after making a promise to his brothers and his best friend, he was sincerely trying to shift his mind away from his first love. That's why he chose the library instead of following Taehyung again.
Meanwhile, Jee-min, Sang, and Hoon met in the hallway to spend their free time talking as usual.
"Good morning, Jee-min," Taehyung said loudly while running towards him in the hallway where the 3 were chatting about random things.
"Good morning, Tae," Jee-min replied with a small smile.
"Good morning, Sang and Hoon hyung," Taehyung greeted them. They greeted him back.
"So Tae, tell us—what's your plan for the upcoming Prom Night Party?" Hoon asked with a warm smile. He didn't know anything about Jungkook's secret, which was why he asked. After hearing the question, Taehyung blushed.
But two people's hearts started beating faster—none other than Jee-min and Sang. They looked at each other, and Jee-min gulped nervously. Sang silently took his boyfriend's hand and intertwined their fingers tightly.
"Actually, Hyung, something happened last night, and I want to share it with all of you," Taehyung said shyly, his cheeks already red from blushing.
"What happened, Tae?" Jee-min asked with a forced smile.
"Jee-min, I'll tell everyone at lunchtime. For now, let's go to class," Taehyung replied softly.
"Yeah, that's a great idea. See you at the canteen, Taehyung," Sang replied instantly on behalf of his boyfriend, who was hurt again after hearing Taehyung's response.
"Okay, bye everyone. Let's go, Jee-min," Taehyung said happily.
"Hmm," Jee-min uttered.
"Bye guys, and please concentrate on your studies. Chimmy—especially you," Hoon said.
"Hmm," Jee-min repeated.
Then everyone headed towards their classes.

When Jee-min and Taehyung entered the classroom, Jee-min's eyes immediately started searching for his best friend, but he couldn't find him because Jungkook hadn't arrived yet. Jee-min let out a deep sigh of disappointment and sat beside Taehyung.
"Jee-min, are you alright? Today it feels like you're upset," Taehyung asked with genuine concern in his voice.
"I'm absolutely fine, Tae. Actually, I've had a headache since morning. That's why I'm quiet today. Nothing else," Jee-min lied with a small, fake smile.
"Did you take any medicine?" Taehyung asked.
"Yes," Jee-min replied.
"Okay," Taehyung said softly with a gentle smile.
Taehyung got busy reading the previous notes from his copy, while Jee-min's eyes stayed fixed on the classroom entrance. He was eagerly waiting for his soulmate.
After a few minutes, he finally saw Jungkook entering the classroom with some new friends, giggling as he walked.
What shocked Jee-min the most was that, for the first time ever, Jungkook walked past without even glancing at Taehyung. Jee-min's eyes widened.
