Jee-min entered the classroom and sat beside his best friend, smiling non-stop like crazy. Seeing this, Jungkook began teasing him.
"Looks like someone is VERY happy today because he got himself a handsome boyfriend. But why is he smiling like a madman? Let me guess! Oh—did he get his first kiss from his boyfriend? What do you think, Jee-min-a?"
Hearing his soulmate's words, Jee-min's eyes widened in shock as he instantly blushed.
"Oh. My. God! Is my guess right?" Jungkook asked loudly.
"Did Sang Hyung really kiss you? Where? When? And how many times?"
Jee-min took a deep breath to calm himself, then lightly smacked Jungkook's head with his palm.
"Sang Hyung is an old-fashioned boyfriend. He doesn't even have the courage to kiss me. Stop talking about me and your stupid Hyung. Let's talk about your hidden love. What's your next plan?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I'll impress him with my intelligence," Jungkook replied confidently.
"What do you mean by that?" Jee-min asked, confused.
"We're both joining the same quiz competition, so I have to win it to impress him and get his attention. As far as I know, he's very good at studying. His thoughts are amazing. So he definitely likes people who are smart too," Jungkook explained with excitement.
"Wow, not bad. Then?" Jee-min asked again. But the moment he did, all the excitement vanished from Jungkook's face like camphor.
"Then… I don't know. That's all I planned," Jungkook replied, pouting.
Jee-min facepalmed dramatically.
"I KNEW you would only think that far. You're just like your stupid brother."
"So you're saying you're smarter than me?" Jungkook asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Of course. But only in love matters and lying—definitely not in studies," Jee-min replied proudly.
"Really? Then prove it. Make a super plan to bring us together," Jungkook challenged mockingly.
"I already made one," Jee-min replied with a satisfied smirk.
"What?! Really? Tell me!" Jungkook said in shock.
Jee-min leaned towards him and whispered, "Listen carefully. I found out everything about Tae."
Jungkook's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open.
"Close your mouth, idiot, unless you want flies to make a new home inside," Jee-min sighed.
"Sorry! But how did you find out about him? Did you hire a detective?" Jungkook asked eagerly.
Jee-min stared at him in disbelief.
"Sometimes I really wonder how you got first place in exams with this level of intelligence. Is Tae a criminal that I'd need to hire a detective?"
Jungkook quickly shook his head.
"Then why ask such a useless question?"
