On our way to campus, Alvin was still reading his textbook until we got to the bus. I told him to not stress himself out that much though I, myself, am stressed too.

Pre-finals is today. I'm fairly confident that I've studied enough so I think I'll be okay... hopefully.

"Elliot?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you listening to what I'm saying?"

I cleared my throat. "No, sorry. What is it."

Alvin sighed. "And there you say I'm the stressed one."

"I'm not that stressed, Alvin. You're the one who keeps on mumbling words from that book."

"Because I am studying!"

"You know, too much studying causes brain malfunction." Manta said. Coincidentally, she was on the same bus as ours when we got on.

"Easy for you to say. You're already smart enough." Alvin said.

I nudged his shoulders. "You can pull this shit off, dude." I said. "I know you can."

"Thanks, I guess?"

Manta and I laughed. The bus rolled its wheels to the school while the world revolves non-stop.
