~oOo~

On a lazy, rainy Saturday afternoon Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo wandered around the castle. A half hour earlier, Jihyo had managed to talk the girls into a little historical tour of their home away from home. They had reluctantly agreed when neither could think of an excuse not to fast enough. Their friends were lucky to have legitimate excuses.

Momo said she had an essay to pass when they all know she locks herself up in the Hufflepuff dorm to stuff her face with the food her mother sends from the muggle world on Saturdays. Any sane person would ask why she doesn't just eat her food in the Great Hall but she reasons that she wants to avoid people who would be curious of her food and ask her for some (she is very possessive when it comes to her food). She has Dahyun as her lookout whenever she does this since Momo always promises her chocolates if the latter doesn't end up with detention by the time she is done eating. There is also the rare occasion when Momo may feel generous enough to share her food with Dahyun (who is also a foodie like her).

Sana, on the other hand, had been trying to convince Tzuyu to go on a date with her for the past two years and their youngest finally agreed so they understood not to interrupt them or else they would have to deal with a vindictive snake for the rest of the year.

Lastly, Mina has made it very clear to them that she is not to be disturbed during Saturday afternoons as it was her 'Chaengie time' (her words, not theirs) which would mean that Chaeyoung is also unavailable. The latter was very apologetic about not being able to go with them but she's more terrified of Mina than sympathetic to Jihyo and is unwilling to take the risk.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon could see the absence of their friends didn't really bother Jihyo as she, for her part, was absolutely in her glory. She beamed with happiness as she led them around. They wandered in and out of rooms the three had never been in before, Jihyo talking all the while.

She told them all the different things that had happened in each room they entered. She explained that, in this room so and so had done this. In that room, someone they had never heard of had done something else important. She pointed out all the places where duels had occurred. Nayeon was actually thinking that this hadn't been such a bad idea after all; it was more interesting than she had expected. And well... Jihyo was so deliriously happy. Jeongyeon wasn't saying a whole lot as she wandered a few paces behind them while looking up at the strange architecture that Jihyo had pointed out. Jihyo was so excited that in her enthusiasm she was practically dragging Nayeon after her.

"Oh, I just have to show you this room up ahead. The most amazing things happened in there." She blathered on as she hooked her arm in Nayeon's and hurried her along.

Nayeon looked over her shoulder at Jeongyeon, her eyes pleading. Jeongyeon just laughed and then both smiled.

"Better you than me," the blond whispered.

"What, Jeongyeon? Did you say something?" Jihyo asked, as she turned to face her wondering if Jeongyeon had a question about something she had previously said.

"No, I'm good. Lead the way," she smiled at Jihyo and gestured for her to continue on, which the latter happily did.

Jihyo pushed open the heavy oak door and strode into the room with Nayeon and Jeongyeon following closely behind.

"In this room..." She began.

"Hey," Jeongyeon interrupted, "Isn't that the Mirror of Erised?"

Both Nayeon and Jihyo turned to look to where Jeongyeon was pointing. There, in the far corner of the room, pushed up against the wall did indeed stand the fabled Mirror of Erised. It looked much like an intricate archway. Their attention immediately turned to the gold frame where the famous phrase was inscribed: "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi". They have heard about the mirror before and it was said that no one has seen it since the 90's which was around forty years ago. Nayeon was beginning to think it was only a myth (which was almost sad since they live in a magical world where anything is possible) until she saw it right before her very eyes.
