Nikky's P.O.V
"Is she ok" I heard a male voice scream
"Shhhh" I groaned as my head began to throb even more. I closed my eyes due to the pain.
"Sorry" he whispered "what happened"
I heard Eleanor explain everything that happened to me even the things I didn't witness. I opened my eyes again and saw them looking at each other
"Want me to take her home" Niall asked and she nodded looking at me.
"Wait but i have to finish the video" I said trying to stand up but they held me back.
"Don't worry about it" El said "We are almost done with it anyway"
I felt two strong arms take me and pick me up. I cuddled up to Niall as we made our way outside. He set me next to him and i layed my head down on his lap
"Hotel now" was the last thing i heard Niall say before i fell asleep.
*3 hours later*
"You think my first instinct is to protect you. Because you're small, or a girl, or a Stiff. But you're wrong." I hear someone reading as i wake up. I look up and see that i am cuddled up to Niall. I also noice that my clothes have changed into much confier ones. Niall looks down at me and thats when i see he is reading Divergent.
"Someone is awake" he chuckles. I respond by cuddling up to him and he continues readin
"He leans his face close to mine and wraps his fingers around my chin. His hand smells like metal. When was the last time he held a gun, or a knife? My skin tingles at the point of contact, like he's transmitting electricity through his skin.
"My first instinct is to push you until you break, just to see how hard I have to press." he says, his fingers squeezing at the word break. My body tenses at the edge in his voice, so I am coiled as tight as a spring, and I forget to breathe.
His dark eyes lifting to mine, he adds, "But I resist it."
"Why..." I swallow hard. "Why is that your first instinct?"
"Fear doesn't shut you down; it wakes you up. I've seen it. It's fascinating." He releases me but doesn't pull away, his hand grazing my jaw, my neck. "Sometimes I just want to see it again. Want to see you awake." " " he finishes and closes the book "So want some food" he gives out his famous laugh which makes me laugh. I nod and we make our way to the kitchen to see what the hell we will make. I quickly turn the radio on and UPTOWN FUNK comes on.
