Gene frowns and the asker "Who are you, if I may ask?"

"They're beings from another multiverse"

"I do not need your sass, Mister Gordon..."

"Imagine this...", Nicholas clicks his pen and leans back in his chair "For once I wasn't sassy with you, old man"

Most of them have to blink a few times. In the dimly lit room the camera flash is a bit blinding. They don't get much time to react otherwise though.

Gene huffs and glares at the askers now "So your decision has led to another death, you've discovered the possibility of an impostor on the station, but you let them join the meeting?"

"This... could've been avoided, I know that" Sven seems to have trouble holding eye contact when the older toppat looks back at him. Burt squints his eyes at Gene, but Macbeth is the one to speak.

"The decision of all elites, Gene. To have time to gather information. Something I doubt you did in the past days..."
