"GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE. WE are still currently outside the Sinclaire Corporation building to catch a glimpse of this historical meeting. The nine CEOs who arrived earlier just started leaving the premise, as well as chairman Christopher himself. Unfortunately, we could not get any statements from them," the reporter explains while looking in front of the camera.

    The others were doing all sorts of reports from different news channels across the globe. As the reporter earlier said, this was an important meeting. A meeting between business tycoons Denzel and Christopher shook the entire business world, and in the middle of that, somewhere in between that meeting, Max was involved in it too, a seventeen-year-old boy from a family so powerful they once ruled over the country.

    In fact, business family's are so famous that the public would rather watch them than hear about what the government or even what the royal families are doing.

     "We have yet to hear what has happened to the meeting, and fortunately, we can still get a statement from both chairman Denzel and his son, Maximilian Leigh Sinclaire, soon. Orlando, back to you."

     As everyone waits for an official statement, chairman Denzel's secretary - and the chosen representative for the private meeting - finally heads out of the building with two guards behind him. The press runs to the entrance, shoving their cameras and microphones on his face.

    While the guards try to push everyone who was getting too close, the secretary pulls out a document and clears his throat, automatically making everyone stop talking.

     "Good afternoon, I stand here before you as the representative and spokesperson of the Sinclaire Corporation," the secretary starts, and the sound of the cameras starts clicking.

     "Today, November 9, 2023, a private meeting was held with chairman Christopher Mills, chairman of the Mills Tobacco Company, alongside nine CEOs under his belt. The purpose of this private meeting was to discuss the issues regarding Maximilian Leigh Sinclaire's inheritance, which we have not publicly addressed before. As rumors started to grow, the public also grew restless by what has become of this decision. That is why after a thorough discussion, chairman Denzel Sinclaire has officially decided to terminate his previous announcement. Maximilian Leigh Sinclaire is and will continue to be the heir to the company," the secretary finally announces, instantly making everyone go wild.

     "Was this change of decision was because of chairman Christopher?"

     "Is it true that chairman Denzel has an illegitimate son? Was that the reason why he took Maximilian's inheritance away?!"

     "Please tell us how the negotiation unfolded!"

     Questions after questions were thrown at the secretary, but as Denzel requested, he was not allowed to answer any of them. He was only there to make the announcement so the press could finally leave.

     "We hope you continue to support the Sinclaire corporation, and continue to watch over the young heir of the family. Thank you," the secretary finishes before turning around and heading back inside the building.

     The press starts pushing each other, desperate to get more statements, but more guards eventually arrived to block their way.

     While everyone was occupied at the front of the building, Max safely and successfully made his exit at the back. His initial plan was to announce his victory himself for everyone to see, but after what Max heard from Denzel, he didn't have the courage nor strength to face anyone.

     "During that incident...inside that very same car, you were there. Your very own mother, Luna, tried to die with you...She tried to kill you too," Denzel revealed to him.
