I just got the kids to bed for the night. I got ready for our date. I walked downstairs and Derek grabbed my hand

"What- where are we going" I smiled

"Outside by the pool" he smiled

"Well we better have sex in that damn pool because I missed it" I smiled

"We will have sex all night out there" he smiled

"Do not get me pregnant Derek" I said

We started eating

"So what was it like living with Beckham for 2 months" I asked

"I barely got to see him because he had to be hooked up to stuff" he said

"I'm glad you were with him either way I knew that you were with him somewhere out there" I said

"I'm so sorry I had to keep it from you for what like a year" he said

"Yeah it was a long time" I said

"Just know that I wouldn't leave you in purpose" he said

He got up and went over to me

"Congratulations" he smiled

"Thanks" I said

I left and went to the hospital. I saw Addison and she walked over to me.

"Meredith I missed you. You didn't call me or anything" addy said

"I'm sorry. I left ever since that day" I said

"I missed you addy" I said hugging her

"I missed you too" she said

I backed up and left to go to Baileys office. Derek use to be chief and now Bailey's chief of the hospital. I knocked onto her office door

"Come in" she said

I walked in and she smiled at me

"You're finally here Grey and you're an attending now" she said

"Yeah" I smiled sitting down at her desk.
