Why did he get arrested

We were at the part in the movie where this woman has to give birth silently. This was hard to watch.

"I really hope this never happens" I whispered

"Me neither I would be crying with you" he said

I keep getting mixed signals from his. Is he talking about a baby together because I'm really confused right now. Security came to us

"Hey you guys have to leave" he said pointing the flashlight at our faces

We got up and walked out of the room. A couple cops were there. We ran past them and out the door. They were chasing us. We got into the car and quickly drove off.

"That was crazy" I said out of breath

"Yeah I hope they aren't following us" he said getting onto the highway

We started driving and heard a police siren.

"Damn it" he said pulling over

The cop got out of his car.

"You wouldn't of been pulled over if you weren't doing 100 in a 65" I sighed

"You-" he said looking at me

"What" I said

"Derek you are literally driving with 1 hand because the other ones broken" I said

The cop came up

"License and registration" she said

I handed Derek his stuff. He gave it to the car

"Sir can you step out of the vehicle" she said

"Is there a reason" he said

"You were going 40 over the limit. We have to take you in" she said

"Are you actually joking" I said

He got out of the car and got detained.

"Ma'am who are you to him" she asked

"His girlfriend" I said

"We'll let you know when he can be picked up" she said taking him back to her car

I got into the drivers seat. The cop came back and gave me his registration. I put it in the glove box. She drove away with Derek and I texted my friends group chat

"Derek just got arrested" I texted while laughing

I drove his Porsche home and went inside. I can't believe this. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I changed into my pajamas. My phone was blowing up with questions. I told them that he was going to fast and they all replied saying stuff like he should have his license banned. I started laughing. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning to a phone call.

"Dr. Shepherd is free to leave" a woman said

"Thank you" I said

I got up and brushed my teeth. I ate some oatmeal and left the house. I drove down to the police station. I waited for Derek and watched him walk down the long steps. He was smiling. He got into the car.

"Thanks" he smiled

"What happened" I asked

"Nothing" he laughed

"Nothing?" I questioned

"Yeah they realized who I was and let me off with a pass" he said

"Are you kidding" I said pulling out of my parking spot

"Nope" he said

We drove to the hospital because we both had work.

"Hey I was going to do something last night, but tonight we can do it" he said
