As I sat infront of the holy fire, something that was to bind me with the man beside me forever....I looked at my father while he was giving me away.

And for some reason...the look in his eyes screamed that maybe it was the last time I would see him.

The man beside me spoke nothing as he performed all the rituals.

My life was ruined.

My heart was broken...and while I held onto the little pieces of broken hope with much struggle- I realised my entire live was supposedly devoted to him.

The man I knew nothing about.
