Starlette

"Watch your back, Starlette" he mouths. His cheutreuse green irises burn onto my skin and I feel myself shrink a little back. It seems like he actually meant those words—those simple words that held much more meaning.

With my curls pulled up into a loose and elegant bun, strands fall down my face and my red painted lipstick glow against my tanned skin. My oceanic blue irises gaze down onto my crimson dress that's perfectly suited for me and I see it slightly ripped apart like a wolf had done the job itself.

Snapping my attention in front of me, I'm in the stadium where Harry had performed before I crashed it. Darkness consumes my vision except one single light that's glowing onto one particular man; Harry. His devious glint in his eye brings out the worst of his intentions and the smirk that's plastered against his lips sends chills down my spine.

I feel the cold surface of my guitar in my hands and I glance around which to my utter dismay, doesn't involve my three bestfriends. I'm hopeless and in the dark—Harry being the only one that consumes my vision. With his black suit, his eyes are the only ones that I can spot in the dark—the kind where they glow like a wolf in the dark. And he repeats-

"Like I said, Starlette, watch your back,"

As I jolt awake, I glance around and see my three bestfriends beside me in my bed. Last night we managed to have a movie marathon to toast to our little games. However, we fell asleep while watching 'Clueless'. I glance down to see Aurelia softly snoring as her head is splayed against Josh's chest and a small smile flourishes on my lips—I always knew they had a thing for one another.

On the other hand, Ryder is sprawled over the bed and he just happened to take most of it. I mean, I can't complain because it's in his nature to just take the whole bed in general. I glance over my three best friends and sigh in happiness as I realise they're beside me and we're in this together—for Alex.

"Morning, loser," Ryder groggily mumbles. I turn over to meet his hazel eyes and a smile blossoms onto his pink lips. "Bruh, it's only nine. Can't we get another three hours of sleep?" He whines as he pushes his face into his pillow.

"Get up, idiot! Today's our concert!" I exclaim as jump onto him and hug him from the back. Groaning from the impact, he turns over and wraps his arms around me like he always did. "Man, are you nervous? I had a dream about Harry last night. What if he ruins it for us? I mean, it's only fitting he does since we did it first-" I ramble but he silences me.

"Can you stop whining? I'm still a little hungover," he whispers as he squeezes me against his broad chest. The oxygen is knocked out of my lungs and I groan.

"I can't breath-"

"Then stop talking," he continues.

He closes his eyes and tries to fall back asleep but I quickly push him away. "Get your lazy ass up. We still got work to do if we're supposed to make this a big hit!" I exclaim. Me being that damn idiot I am, jumps over Aurelia and Josh and they immediately get up. "Get up! I'm bored!" I whine like a child.

"Are you serious? It's only nine!" Josh groans as he flops back onto the bed. "Three more hours, please," he says as he rolls over to his side.

"That's what Ryder said. I'm going to say what I said to him—get up!" I exclaim as I push Ryder off the bed, then Josh and lastly Aurelia—only because I'm a great friend. "Okay, now that you're all up, let's get preparing!" I smile.

With the smirk plastering against my lips, I couldn't help but feel happy. Everything that Jeff, Mitch and I had prepared is definitely going to be a success and I couldn't be more satisfied with this feeling. Starlette wouldn't know what hit her and I'm expecting the media to blow up with this little scandal.

"Okay, you're set to perform in ten minutes. Are you ready?" Jeff asks as he pokes his head into my changing room.

"I couldn't be more ready," I smile. Even though most of the celebrities like Ariana, Rihanna, Shawn and others despise my guts after that little stunt Starlette pulled, many had many favours they owed me. Luckily, with my plan, I knew how to pull a few strings.

Touching up my hair and straightening my pink, I finally make my way out of my changing room and onto the stage. The arena is filled with all of the celebrities that Starlette invited yesterday at the Met Gala. What can I say? When I said she should watch her back, I really meant it.

It was all on short notice but with a few blackmailing techniques, I was able to make sure that no one turned up to her concert. Wicked, cruel or stupid, I know but did I care? No, not the slightest. She ruined my concert and my image and I plan on doing the same.

I grab my guitar and run onto the stage where all my fans happened to be. With their screams and cries, I knew I chose the right career—I mean, I loved the attention and praises. Hooking my guitar, I glance at all the familiar faces that I invited. "What's up everyone! I'm glad everyone could make it on short notice so here's a few songs!" I exclaim as I begin to play the intro of 'Golden'. With the screams and cries echoing in my ears, I continue to sing the song that everyone adored.

However, to my dashing luck, another voice starts to sing with me on a different microphone. My eyebrows furrow and I look over to Starlette in a black bodycon short dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Her boots clicks against the floor and her wild curls cascade down her back.

"Missed me, Harry?" She says into the microphone and her crimson stained lips twitches into a smirk. "Cause I sure missed you," she says as she ambles over to me. My mouth falls open slightly and I furrow my eyebrows together. First of all, how the hell did she get up on stage with her best friends and second, what's she doing here?

"Just sing with her, Harry!"

"You're wasting my time!"

"Stop gaping like a damn fish!"

I snap out of my trance and take a deep breath. "Fine, one song and you're leaving," I snap as I narrow my eyes at her. She walks over to me until she's staring up at me with her big sapphire-lit irises and I feel my heart drop when she leans against my ear.

"That's all I need, baby,"

(Hey lovelies! What'd you think?)
