RYAN'S POINT OF VIEW*

"Oh shut up, Ryan!" Sky said, throwing a napkin at me.

"I'm serious!" I said. "I would sell my feet pics online for good cash!"

"You're disgusting, I swear to god!" Lilly said. "How am I dating you again?"

I rolled my eyes playfully, then kissed her on the cheek. "You know you're obsessed with me."

"In your dreams," she said, but smiled anyway.

The waiter came back with our cheque, and we decided to split it 4 ways. "Where's Riley and Leon, they're still talking?" I asked.

As if on cue, my sister and my best friend walked down, laughing together. That was a good sign, he made up with her.

I still don't know why they were fighting.

They may think I'm stupid, but I know it's something within this day and a half that is missing from my memory.

I just don't know what it is.

"Hey, guys! Did you have a good night?" Leon asked as soon as they reached our table.

"One of the best, did you guys make up?" Sky asked.

Riley nodded, smiling widely. "You guys wanna come to my place? My parents left for Germany earlier today," Leon suggested.

All of us agreed and got up, leaving the restaurant. "Hey, Ry, wait up," Leon said, as I was grabbing my crutches.

I looked back at him and he walked over to me, the others a few steps ahead of us.

"What's up?" I asked, using the crutches to help me walk with him. Every part of my body hurt, but I ignored the pain.

"How are you feeling?" he asked sincerely. "Pain any better?"

"Everything hurts, but you know what I say, power through anything," I said, as we exited the restaurant.

"Sometimes you need a break, you know?" he said, looking at his watch. "Sometimes powering through will only hurt you more."

Where was this conversation going?

"I guess..." I said. "Did you want to tell me something, Leon?"

Like the fact that you like my sister? Yeah, I know. I'm not blind.

I've known Leon likes Riley for some time, I just don't know how to react to that. Especially with his Laura issue.

I don't want my sister to get hurt, or be used as a rebound.
