"You're strangling your fork," Charles's voice broke my trail of thoughts. I looked at my hands and I was indeed strangling my fork with a chokehold.
I was just so angry.
I felt like a bomb with fragile wires; one wrong move and I'd explode with anger.
"What's wrong, man? Is this about Riley making out with Heath yesterday?" he asked.

"SHE'S SO CONFUSING!" I got up, slamming my fork on the table. "ONE MOMENT SHE'S ABOUT TO KISS ME AND IS TELLING ME SHE HAS FEELINGS FOR ME AND THE NEXT ONE SHE'S MAKING OUT WITH SOME OTHER GUY!" I all but screamed.
"Leon, breathe."
I ran my hands through my hair, the frustration engulfing my entire body. "Why do I always have the worst luck when it comes to dating?"
"You don't."
"My ex-girlfriend cheated on me twice and now I have feelings for the one girl I'm not supposed to have feelings for!" I exclaimed.
"She's confused, Leon," Charles pointed out. "From what I understood, she just broke up with her cheating ex-boyfriend who also happens to be a drug dealer."
