"it was a dare." he says

"explain to me what was a dare" I say

"asking you to the ball, kissing you , cuddling with you, everything that happened between us was a dare" he says

"fuck" I mumble and walk into my car

(next day)

are you fucking kidding me, why couldn't he have just leave me alone when I asked when I first met him. I storm into the bathroom and take a shower , then I change into sweat pants and a hoodie. then the door gets pounded on.

"Cat open up" someone says sternly when I open up its Danny

"why didn't you tell me" he says storming in

"tell you what" I ask

"you only ever talked to me because you felt bad for my supposedly pathetic life" he yells

"honestly I have no idea what your talking about" I say and he rolls his eyes

"Calum told me you never actually wanted to be my friend but you did cause I was pathetic and you wanted to mess with my feelings " he says still yelling

"fucking ass" I say and he laughs

"really your calling me an ass" he says

"no not you Calum, he told me everything between us was a dare and now he's trying to get everyone to turn on me" I say and he walks over to me and hold my hand with both of his hands

"oh my god Catherine I'm so sorry I didn't know" he says softly

"it's okay it wasent your fault , how could you even believe him" I say smiling and he smiles back

"I'm an idiot " he says

"obviously" I say giving him a wink

"but still shit why didn't you tell me and the Calum situation?" he says crossing his arms

"uhhh well you see I didn't think you would react very well" I say

"let's go visit Jack ass" he says and I whine

"why"

"he tends to like to make people feel better" he says and I groan and walk out the door

a few minutes later we are in his apartment building and we open the door to his apartment and some girl I've never seen before is in here.

"uhm someone's here" she says to Jason and he peeks his head around the corner

"oh that's the beauty and the beast" he says and she laughs

"which one is the beast?" she asks

"the guy , aka Danny, aka my roommate" he says

"oh" she coos and Jason walks out.

"let's play truth or dare" he says and I shake my head

"no thanks, I'll be back" I say and walk into Danny's room , I pull out my phone and Call calum

"hello" he says

"are you trying to get everyone in my life to hate me?"

"oh I see he confronted you , about your dirty little secrets" he says

"Calum the only fucking one who has dirty secrets is you" I say and he fake gasps

"oh my ouch that really hurt" he says sarcastically

"and to think I liked you, I must have had been oblivious to your true self" I say and hang up. I walk out of Danny's room and plop on the couch next to the girl and Jason walks out with a try of margaritas , thank god.

he hands me one and I take it and sigh before taking a drink.
