Chapter 3

-Kiyama Ena POV-

"That was nice, what you did for them, Ena-chan. I'm really happy you and Ken-chin are by my side" said Mikey when we walked outside of the hospital.
"Always" I smiled.
"Man, I'm kinda hungry" he said.

"What? You just ate" said Draken.
"I always get hungry after a nap" said Mikey.
"How does that even work?" said Draken.

Mitsuya came to pick up Mikey.
"Can you get Pah-chin to come tomorrow?" asked Draken to Mitsuya.
"Yeah. I'll have Peh go too" said Mitsuya. "The warehouse near Second MS work for you?"

"Yeah" said Draken.
"Sounds good to me" I said. "Crap, I've got to go. My teacher will kill me if I'm late for training again. See you later, Mitsu-kun!"
"Bye Ena-chan!" said Mikey and I ran to the dojo.

"Sorry, Sensei" I said and bowed. "I had to visit someone in the hospital"
"Oh, everything okay?" asked my teacher.
"She's not doing so good" I said. "But everything will be fine"

"Okay, let's see how you've been doing" he said and I smiled.
"I'll try not to hurt you too much, sensei" I smiled and he smirked.
"Bring it on, Kiyama" he said.

My teacher was amazing, I could go all out, and he teaches me something new every time.
I can tell he enjoys going all out against a student as well. The other students often watch our little sparring matches.

-Draken POV-

-Flashback to fifth grade-

I searched for this Mikey person...
He sounded awesome.
"Hey!" I shouted to a kid. "You're from Seventh Elementary, aren't ya?"

"Y-Yeah..." said the kid.
"I'm looking for Mikey. Know where he is?" I asked.
"I just saw Mikey-kun" he said. "Mikey-kun!"

He waved to a little blonde kid with candy in his mouth.
"Hm? What?" asked Mikey.
'That's not what I imagined at all! I figured he was a stacked beast way bigger than me! This dude's a runt! He's just a kid! He's coming over here. Shit! Should I fight him?'

"Hey" said Mikey. "A bunch of the 48 positions overlap, don't they?"
"Huh?" I said.
"I keep trying to count them and never get to 40. Thoughts?" he asked.

"Wh-What? What even is that?" I asked. "Uh... you're Mikey-kun, right?"
"Yeah, I am. So what?" he asked.
"Some middle schoolers I know wanted me to get you" I said.

"What?" he said, he didn't look happy...
"I mean... I'm not gonna force ya" I said.
"Sure" he said.

"Huh?" I was surprised.
"You're the one who asked, so sure" he said. "I'm gonna pick up my friend first, I promised her I'd walk her to school today"

We walked to an apartment complex and he pushed the button 'Kiyama'.
"Hello?" it was a woman.
"Miss Kiyama, it's Mikey" said Mikey. "I'm here to pick up Ena-chan"

"She's coming down right now!" said the woman. "Thank you, Mikey, for picking her up"
"No problem" he said.
"Mikey!" it was a girl with short black hair and blue eyes, she had an earring in one ear.

"Good morning, Ena-chan" he said when she hugged him.
"Who's your friend?" she asked.
"Ryuguji Ken" I introduced myself.

"I'm Kiyama Ena" she smiled. "So, you made another friend, huh, Mikey"
"Apparently a few middle schoolers want to see me" said Mikey.
"Oh" she said and she understood. "Well, let's go. Otherwise we'll be late for school"

"Eh, a girl shouldn't be there" I said.
"Excuse me?" she said and she was pissed. "You think I'm weak because I'm a girl? Tch, boys and their images about women"
"Eh?" I was surprised by her angry look, it honestly scared me a little.
"Ena-chan is pretty strong" said Mikey. "She'll show you later"
