Meteor Shower

Carly's POV
Leo brought me to a nice restaurant, he held my hand and we walked in. The restaurant was extremely fancy and was very relaxing to be in since the restaurant is next to the beach, there was a waiter who led us into a private room that has a huge balcony that has the beach view and it has a faint breeze coming in

We sat down as the waiter went out, I looked around
"Leo I don't think we can afford this place" I said to him and he chuckled

His eyes looked behind me and I followed it, there was a vase that is on a stand with a small folded card at the front of it. I read what it says on the card

"Property of Xavier Enterprise" I read it out loud, I looked back at Leo and squinted my eyes a bit at him

He laughed at me "why are you squinting your eyes at me?" he asked

"that's impossi-...wait a minute why would I say that to a guy who owns a black Mercedes-Benz" I said to myself as I hit the palm of my hands to my temple

"just so you know, I earned that car through hard work. I have to work as an employee in my Mom's company" Leo said while smiling at my shocked face

I grinned at him "of course you do, how else would you earn that money?" I said to him in sarcasm and he playfully rolled his eyes at me

I stand up from my seat and opened the sliding door to the balcony with the beach view
"Woah" I said with amazement, the beach has never looked more beautiful than up here

Leo was right beside me admiring the view and enjoying the air that is filled with seawater
"Woah indeed" he said, I was trying to agree with him but he was actually looking at me

I covered his eyes to stop looking at me because I was embarrassed, I lifted my hand a little and he was still looking at me. Leo was now laughing
"Alright this is getting ridiculous" he said and removed my hand from covering his eyes

I smelled delicious food from the inside and I looked
"foods here!" I said excitedly and we went back in and sat down

I look at the food for two and everything on the table looks delicious, Leo looked at me and said "let's eat!!" he said with excitement in his voice too

We gobbled down the food and after that we feel extremely full, if you can let me draw ourselves as a character I would draw ourselves as a very round person because we ate a lot

We waited until we can feel ourselves that we can move again, we left the restaurant since Leo told me the meal was his Mom's treat for us but the date actually just started. It was already sunset and as the sky gets darker and darker I get curious as to where Leo is taking me since he doesn't mind that the sun is not up anymore

"Leo where are you taking me?" I asked him and he was just smiling at me

"if your gonna kill me just say it already" I said as I feel my heart beating fast as I have random thoughts running around my head, He laughed

"Idiot I am not gonna kill you I'm taking you somewhere close" he said then he took my hand and kissed it, after a few more minutes he stopped the car

He went out and I went out also, I followed him and he removed the Lid off of the back of his Mercedes-Benz pick up. There was a bed behind the
Truck with comfy pillows and a blanket

There was a cute hanging sign that says "Happy Anniversary?" I said confused and I looked at Leo

He shrugged "I call this the First Anniversary of our first date" he was so proud and I giggled, I kissed him on the cheek because he became adorable. He carried me up so I can get on the bed in the truck and he hopped in, he lie down and pulled my arm so I can lie down with him

"Alright, why is there a bed behind the truck?" I asked him and he put his arm around me like an embrace and pulled me closer, he pointed at the sky and I looked up

As soon as I looked up there was a meteor shower, I was mesmerised by how I never knew there was one today. There were so many of the meteors passing by so fast, I feel Leo's hand intertwined with mine

The meteor shower soon ended and my focus was now on the bright stars up at the night sky, the blanket was comfy because the night was a bit chilly. I removed my heels so right now I am barefoot on the bed

Leo now pulled out a few roses that were tied together and I looked at him
"they're lovely as always Leo, thank you" I said to him and I accepted the flowers

I admired the flowers but then I realised that Leo looks like he was waiting for something, I chuckled at him and pulled him by his collar and I kissed him

I can feel the corner of his lips become a smile, he pulled me closer by the waist and I encircled my arms around him. Well it got to the point we were making out at the back of his truck and I pulled away before things escalate

I swear I really am bad at kissing cause my breathing sounds right now sounds like I ran for my life, I saw Leo grinning at me with his hair now messy because of me

I grinned back at him and I put my hair behind my ear, I looked around the area

We were not that close to the beach and this place is an open field that is filled with grass
"We should bring a laptop and watch a movie here sometimes" I said and suddenly out of the blue, Leo pulled out a laptop out of his bag

"you really prepared everything" I complimented him and he nodded, we chose a science fiction that is mixed with comedy movie and we watched

Leo was hugging me from behind as he was leaning at the front of the truck I was leaning at his chest, the thick blanket covered the both of us

I can hear his heartbeat, it was soothing as I watch the movie with him
