Chapter 26 (Present)

After the Paul fiasco.

The bell rings. Break time 30 mins.

Jay knows he has a notifications but he really wants to go to Sunoo.

So instead of replying, He hastily goes to the other building where Sunoo is.

Arriving in front of Sunoo's classroom.

He is like a mess. He is panting heavily from the excessive running.

Then he calls Sunoo "Bub, kain tayo. (Let's eat)"

Sunoo then glances his way and goes with Jay.

Sunoo asked "Are we eating at Cafeteria?"

"Let's try going there" Jay replied.

Arriving at the Cafeteria. Lot of students are lining up.

Students were eating Carbonara, Mac and Cheese and any kinds of food rich people eats.

As Jay saw the prices of the foods.

He persuaded Sunoo to eat outside.
"Bub, Mahal dito. Let's just eat outside. (Bub, it's expensive here)"

Sunoo also agreed because his budget isn't enough.

Both decided to walk outside towards the nearest food stall.

"Bub, Diba you like Beef Pares. (Bub, don't you like beef pares?)" Jay said.

"Yes, Dum. I like Pares." Sunoo replied.

"Then would you like to be my pares for life? (Pares= Pairs or long time lovers)" Jay said passionately.

Sunoo just laughs at him how corny his lines are.

The Beef Pares tindero said "Ah, mag jowa edi may pa extra kayo sa akin na beef pares. (Tindero= Vendor) (ah, so both of you are in relationship? Then i'll both give you extra servings)"

Even though they're not in relationship yet but Jay decided to communicate with Sunoo through their eyes, that they need to pretend they're a couple so that they can have the extra beef pares.

Both Jay and Sunoo thanked the beef pares vendor.

While they're eating. They couldn't help but to rant how exorbitant those prices are from the Cafeteria.

Like for a water bottled it's 50 pesos while carbonara pasta it's 200.

Compare to the Beef Pares they're eating right now, It's only 45 pesos.

They just couldn't afford those kinds of food.

It seems like the school caters for the rich people only.

After eating, Since they have an extra time left.

Sunoo decided to share what happened in the classroom.

He explained how Paul decided to lash out at him for rejection.

It seems like Paul didn't take the rejection well and decided to be petty about it.

Jay is now worried because their buildings are opposite to each other and He couldn't defend Sunoo if something might happen.

Jay consoled Sunoo and told him "Bub, Just stay low for the moment. Don't listen to him and talk to him. Okay?"

Sunoo nodded his head.

Jay then added "Just tell me if Paul decides to pester or bully you. I'll make sure he can learn from my fist."

Sunoo is now worried that it might happen, So he really contemplated wether to tell Jay if ever Paul decides to bully him.

Jay takes Sunoo into his classroom while looking out for Paul.

Sunoo assured that Jay can go now and that Paul isn't here.

Jay then leaves his classroom worriedly.

As his classmates saw Jay takes Sunoo at the classroom.

They were even intrigued.

"Hey, Sunoo. Is that your boyfriend earlier?"
A girl asked him.

Sunoo answered "No, It's just my friend."

"Then can you introduced me to him? The name's Trish by the way." She said.

Sunoo retorted "Sure Trish, I'll tell him later."

As the break time is now over.
The class continues with different sets of activities.

It helps to bond the students well prior of helping to mold their personalities.

Some of them likes Sunoo and some of them is still aware about him.

But overall, I think he made a great impression besides Paul and his friends.

Paul decided to shut his mouth the entire day and is looking directly at Sunoo.

The last activity would be by pair.

Most of his classmates got a pair already.

Sunoo just wanted to have a pair and fortunately, a boy comes up to him and said.  "Do you want to be my pair Sunoo. I'm Clive by the way." He said.

Sunoo feels comfortable with Clive. So he said yes.

So the activity will be like each student gets a chance to ask a question from their paired partner.

Sunoo's real excited because he might have found Clive friendly.

But Paul just wanna ruin everything.

"Teacher I won't do the activity if it's not Sunoo." Paul said.

After hearing those statements. Sunoo couldn't help but feel pressured from it and decided to give in.

"Whoever's fine teacher." Sunoo said.

Then Clive said "Take Care Sunoo. It's a shame I'm not your partner."

Paul then looks at Sunoo while smirking.
"You can't get away with me Sunoo."

As the activity starts.

Paul decided to ask the three questions first.

"What's your type? "Do I look attractive?"
"Can you give me your number."

Sunoo could only sigh in defeat.

I mean, These questions ain't even about bonding. It should be like sentimental questions.

This is personal invasive.

But still Sunoo gave his answers.

"My type is the one who will never leaves me. Second, Yes you're attractive and Lastly No, You can't have my number."

Paul still seems confused as to why does Sunoo don't wanna give his number since he finds him attractive.

After hearing Sunoo's answers. He is now confused again why Sunoo didn't raise a question about him.

So he asked "Where's the question? Aren't you interested about me"

Sunoo boldly replied "It's okay, I was never interested in you in the first place."

Paul couldn't help but to show his expressions he's hiding earlier.

He just felt like someone rejected him twice this day.

His ego, His pride and Dignity is trampled by a poor scholar boy.

So he goes back to his seat and thinks he's gonna bully Sunoo from this day onwards.

"Feisty little poor scholar. Let's see what you've got." Paul internally said.
