Chapter 29: talking about the past

(Regulus's view)

Lucy and Dimitry were seated on the couch as soon as we arrived home.

"Father?" Lucy called from where she sat next to her godfather on the couch.

"Yes dear?" I asked, before walking over to where they were seated and sat down on my daughter's other side.

"What are these?" Lucy inquired as she pulled off a small silver ring that shimmered into view.

"Those are the whisper rings love, where on earth did you --?" I began to ask when Dimitry gave me a little smile.

"Lucy, do you know who created them?" Michael asked to which she shook her head.

"No." she admitted and after sharing a quick look with Dimitry I sighed before turning to look my daughter in the eye.

"My dear, you're looking at the remaining members of the original golden trio." Dimitry said, with a small chuckle at the three now gaping kids.
