His anger only subsided when I mentioned who I had met. I didn't mention Nehemiah. It felt awkward to mention his name to other people.

I stayed in a hotel. I told Fides to do not book me a luxurious hotel because I'm not staying here for a month. I might only stay here for weeks. May pinapatayo akong bahay dito na malapit lang rin sa shop but it's not yet finished, though I can stay there already.

"Nakakainis 'to! I told you to fill the ref with foods!"

I don't have food with me, kahit asin ay wala. If I only knew there was no available food here, I should have accepted Andrew's offer to take me to a restaurant.

"Sorry na nga! Samahan na lang kitang kumain sa labas ngayon," Fides offered.

I sighed in frustration, "Tangina mo talaga."

I changed my clothes into a statement shirt that I covered with a pocket jacket and leggings.

Fides: I booked you a cab.

Right. The trust I had for them is as small as a dust, or it's even smaller. They are the real problem why rape is rapidly increasing. They can't contain their lust. They only want to satisfy themselves. Even if a woman is wearing the most conservative clothes on earth, if they lust over your body, they will make a way to ruin your life. They are the real monster.

I shake my head to stop my mind from remembering those disturbing memories.

I'm so hungry I could eat an ox.

"Salamat po..." I thanked the driver when we arrived at the place where Fides told me to eat. It's a carinderia.

I mentioned to her that I want Filipino food because I miss it so much. Sawang sawa na ako sa  restaurant food.

I fixed the cap I'm wearing before entering the carinderia.

"Pst! Dito, teh!"

I placed my gaze at the left side of the carinderia and saw Fides there.

I ordered a menudo, bicol express, pork chop, and a chop suey. Syempre hindi mawawala ang kanin! I smiled while observing my food. Dati tuwing lunchtime ay hindi ko kayang bumili nang ganito karami, I will only buy myself a bowl of rice and a free soup. My friends will share their dishes with me.

The transition from the life I had before to the life I have now is surprising. I am now financially stable. I can get what I want in just a snap.

"You don't have plans to share that with me? Sure ka na?" Fides asked while eyeing the food I ordered.

Umiling ako, "Wala. Bumili ka ng iyo."

She scoffed and shook her head unbelievably.

Ano ba iyon?" she asked curiously.

I rolled my eyes, "She wants me to bring her Filipino foods and have an autograph with Coco Martin!"

She laughed, "Gaga talaga ang isang 'yon!"

"Sinabi mo pa."

"Pero, wait... Akala ko ba rito ka na for good? Babalik ka pa pala roon?"
