I rarely get praised by someone. I can't even remember when was the last someone appreciates my physical appearance. Ang pinupuri lang sa akin ay ang pagiging palatawa ko, and I don't have a problem with that. I'm happy that someone notices my cheerful side.

I will not be Jassy if I'm not the cause of their entertainment.

I am not beautiful like other girls from my school. My stature is just right and I look even taller because of my thin skin and short hair. I have almond eyes, my lips are small and I have high cheekbones.

Nehemiah: Thank Him for giving you such a face, Jassy.

My smiles faded when Nehemiah mentioned Him again. He is good at making me pissed.

Nehemiah already mastered the process of making me mad.

I only seened his chat and turned off my data connection to divert my whole attention to my food. Isang malaking pagkakamali ang pag-accept ko sa kan'ya.

"Malapit na ang semester break. Anong plano n'yo?" Lady asked, her mood lightened as she mentioned it.

"We'll visit my cousin in Manila," Justin shrugged as if Manila isn't a big deal to him anymore.

Every year his family will go to Manila that's why I can't blame him. Nasawa na siguro s'ya sa Manila. Habang ako hanggang pangarap lang muna.

"Kayo?"

"Magtratrabaho ako," They scoffed at what I said.

I would rather work than stay in our house. It's more stressful to stay at home.

"Semester break na't trabaho pa rin ang nasa isip mo. Rest your body!" Justin said with complete control. Umiling iling naman si Lady na parang malaking disappointment ang sinabi ko.

Mayaman kasi sila, kahit walang gawin may pera pa rin. Pero sa katulad kong mahirap? Kaonting pahinga lang, magugutom ka na agad.

People can't understand where you are coming from unless they wear the shoes you are wearing for a long time.

Mararanasan ba ng mga mayayaman ang magutom ng isang linggo dahil walang pagkain sa hapag kainan? Nararamdaman ba nila ang hiya sa tuwing uutang ang mga mahihirap sa kanilang mayayaman?

"Work is my rest," I said jokingly even if it is the truth, "Ikaw Pia? Anong balak mo?"

Pia didn't respond to my question. Tulala lang ito at parang kay lalim ng iniisip. Ang isip n'ya ay lumilipad sa kabilang dako ng mundo.

She's with us but her mind is in another place.

"Tulala ka d'yan?" Lady clapped her hands in front of Pia to wake her up from her fantasies.

Pia quietly cursed and closed her eyes firmly. Hindi n'ya rin siguro namalayan na lumilipad ang isip n'ya sa isang lalaking hindi naman magiging kan'ya.

"Makaka move-on ka rin," I mouthed when she looked in my direction.

She cleared her throat and looked away.

I know that her love for Wyatt is not that deep. Siguro ay hinahangaan n'ya lang Ito bilang tao.

I agree with two people related to each other having a romantic relationship. You can't force yourself to not fall in love with someone. Kapag tinamaan ka, tinamaan ka. Your heart can't dictate who you must love. Hindi nito alam kung ano ang tama at mali.

Sa Pilipinas lang yata ang alam kong hindi sang-ayon sa ganitong klaseng pagmamahalan. Sa ibang bansa, allowed naman. Philippines is a Christian country na maraming pinagbabawal, pero mas laganap pa rito ang krimen.
