adventures with the bad batch

part twenty-three (between ep10 and ep11)

I heard Ella and hunter talking, I was half asleep but I could still hear them, hunter was stroking my hair and it was comforting, they were talking about the future and they were talking about this nice house, well 4-5 houses so we could all live together it sounded nice, but living in a big house alone sounded kind of scary

"yeah that sounds nice..... wait we would be in the same house right?" hunter asked 

"ahaha yes of course, probably with omega too" Ella said, wait they wanted me, to stay with them, that would be....amazing. 

"yeah, us three in on, tech right next door" hunter said, I nearly jumped up in happiness, not only did they want to live in a big cool house but they wanted me to live with them. I zoned out for the rest of the conversation just thinking about it, although I wanted to explore the galaxy, that sounded really nice. 

"mmm I love you" Ella said 

"I know" he replied, I love how happy they make each other, its sweet. but as happy as I was right now I felt the meds start to wear off and my head and stomach starting feeling bad again 

ELLAS POV

"mmm" omega groaned 

"hey omega, you okay?" I asked 

"no, I feel bad again"

"okay, I will go grab some meds" I said 

she sat up next to hunter and he wrapped his arm around her, I got a dose for both of them and gave them some water and meds

only an hour later they were both fast asleep, with omega curled up in his lap, I put a blanket over them and just then the boys returned from the mission

"hey how did it go?" I asked as the three boys plus so other guy walked in 

"pretty well" tech said "How are they?"

"good now" I said, hunter woke up looking at the boys

"you're back" he sniffled picking up omega and putting her head on his shoulder "I will be right back" he said walking over to omegas room, I followed the boys into the cockpit 

"so who are you?" I asked the guy, looked like a rich sleaze ball if you ask me. 

"why you asking" he smirked, ew. he sat down in one of the seat and I sat in the pilots seat

"so how did the mission go?" hunter sniffled walking into the room and sitting down 

"good we rescued the target" echo said nodding at the target 

"good job" he said 

"so, this is a nice ship you've got here" they guy said, giving me a weird look before looking at tech, hunter defiantly noticed furrowing his eyebrows

"yes, it is a nice ship" tech replied 

"what type?" the guy asked 

"a modified omicron attack class shuttle" I said, grabbing my blaster and a nearby cloth and cleaning it 

"nice blaster you've got there" he said defiantly grinning, I looked up at him and yep he was grinning, double ew

"uh thanks" I said starting to clean it, hunter was not enjoying this guys presence 

"why did you need rescuing?" hunter asked 

"owed a guy money, so he sent some people after me" he said 

"right" 

"im glad you guys rescued me" he grinned shooting me another look, triple ew. 

"we are just doing a job" hunter said clearly unimpressed
