adventures with the bad batch

part twenty-four (flashback)

(Ella is 12 in this and anakin is 13-14)

I have been here 6 months and I still don't know my way around this massive temple, but at least master yoda always helps me

"morning young one" master said as he entered my room "wake up you must class start soon"

"mmm okay" I said getting up "I only have one training session the rest are classes" I groaned, Anakin and I hated the classes they were always so boring but we love the trainings well because we were the best 

"just do the fun stuff you cannot, you must learn as well"

"yes master", I was closest to master yoda out of anyone in the temple, I was pretty close with obi wan and Anakin as well.

"Ella!" Anakin yelled as he sat next to me in the cafeteria 

"hey whats up" 

"master plo Is out for the day and he is being replaced by Master windu" he panted as he sat 

"what no, he is going so strict on us" I groaned anakin didn't really like master windu, he was really strict,

"only because he knows we are going to be way better Jedi" anakin laughed 

"yeah way better" I said extending my arms "but at least we don't have him for meditation" 

"yeah could you imagine him in meditation"

"it would suck" I said finishing my breakfast 

we walked to our first lesson which was with master yoda, he was always nice to us compared to the others only because I was his favourite. 

anakin and I always sit in the back and just do random stuff, even though we barely listened we were both top of the class, 

"you reckon you will have a single or double lightsaber?" anakin asked sketching something in his holopad 

"defiantly double but it will be able to seperate into two singles" I said 

"yeah that's so good, im going to have a triple no a quadruple" he said 

"and how will that work" I said crossing my arms 

"like this and it will be able to spin around" anakin said showing me a picture

"you will defiantly end up chopping your arm off with that" I laughed

we walked to the next class but it was with Master windu and we were not excited 

"I have an idea, Master Windu loves to tell us off right, but what if we just stay silent and actually pretend to do work so he can't tell us off" I said 

"yeah that's a good idea, I still wish we had master Plo" 

"yeah me too" I sighed

anakin and I went and sat at the back as usual and master windu walked in and anakin and I both nodded at each other 

"hello younglings I will be teaching you about lightsabers so listen up" he instructed 

Anakin and I sat quietly, as we listened to master windus lesson

"Only he could make lightsabers boring" anakin laughed, and I nearly burst out into laugher, I covered my mouth to not be too loud which made anakin laugh even more which made me laugh even more 

"Ella, Anakin, if you think you know so much you explain it" Master windu said, oh no "go on explain a lightsaber" we stopped laughing anakin looked at me to explain it, of course
