adventures with the bad batch

part twenty-one (between ep10 and ep11)

"urgh I- I-" hunter panted,

"it should only be a two day flight and then you can just go into hyperspace to come back, I already have information on this planet, so go now" Tech said

"go hunter" I begged

"be safe" he said sadly

"take care of my ship and stick to the route" tech said

"we will be back" hunter said before the comms went static

HUNTERS POV

we flew up leaving the planet

"we will be back" I said as we left the atmosphere and the comms when static, I hope they are going to be fine, I looked at omega and her face was pure worry,

"they will be fine" I said full of worry, but I was really reassuring myself more.

ELLAS POV

"we should set camp here on the edge of the lake under these trees" tech said

"are there any animals that we should be worried about?"

"no, surprisingly no" he said

"how cold will it get at night?" I asked

"it will be fairly cold but nothing to be worried about"

"we should set up a fire to stay warm, find out if there are any fish in that lake that we can eat, while you do that I will collect some wood" I said, okay when I said I was fine with sleeping on dirt this is not what I had in mind.

I stayed in sight of tech not going to far, just collecting some twigs and small logs, I returned back and set up the camp fire,

"we should light this a bit later" I said

"okay, and there are fish in this lake you can eat, all of the fish found in this shallow area are eatable" Tech said

"okay good, I will catch some fish and you find a way to get drinkable water for us" we didn't bring any rations only one water can because we thought we would just be collecting some crates.

I went over to the side of the lake and put out my hand so the fish would come near the surface to connect, once I saw one I forced it up out of the water, and it died shortly after. I grabbed the fish and placed it on one of the crates, I started the fire by causing some friction and Tech sat down across from me

"the water can is full of drinkable water" he said placing it on the other crate

"good and I caught some dinner" showing tech the fish

tech set up some sticks so we good cook the fish over the fire. the sun had set and it wasn't too cold. it was nice sitting by the fire but I would much rather be with Hunter and the others.

"should we take watch throughout the night, just incase" I asked

"no, I had some parts in my belt so I put some sensors around the camp so I will be alerted if anything that is a potential threat comes near us."

"okay good," I said looking up into the sky

"how different was it being trained by mandalorians to being trained by the Jedi?" he asked

"it was so different it was physically and mentally painful" I chuckled

"what do you mean?"

"well when I was trained with the mandalorian we put everything into battle, emotion and spirt and don't let anyone mess with you but when I fought with the Jedi we had to control our emotion, selflessness and patience, I was so stubborn and I had to stop being stubborn when I became a Jedi which was hard, and I was extremely impatience, so my master made me sit in a room for 6hours not doing anything, which was the most painful thing ever" I laughed
