Secret Calls

Joe takes a cold shower in the morning and starts getting ready for the office. He has still some days off but he got a call for an emergency meeting today. He puts on his grey suit and fixes his slightly damp hair. Taking his black watch and phone from the nightstand, he leaves their bedroom. He's going to attend office after almost two months now. Thanks to his dad for managing all the work for him.

In downstairs, he finds Taylor in the kitchen. She's casually making breakfast for them while holding Taytum with one hand as he gets nursed. He faints a smile at the sight.

"Good morning daddy," Joy squeals from her baby chair as she sees him, her face and hair messed up with food. He smiles and goes near her to give her a kiss on the head.

"Are you leaving already?" Taylor asks him while placing a plate for him on the counter.

Joe nods, "I think I'm going to be late tonight so don't wait for me," He goes near her to put a kiss on her temple, then leans in to kiss Taytum as well.

"But at least have your breakfast," She stops him as he decides to leave without even touching the food.

"I'm getting late," He mumbles and closes the door, "I'll eat in the office."

Taylor frowns and turns off the stove. He never did that before...

When Taytum falls asleep, she puts him in the bassinet downstairs and helps Joy to finish her food. She's such a messy eater.

"Uh baby you need a shower now. Look what you've done to your hair," Taylor sighs while wiping Joy's face.

"What have I done," Joy copies her words and tries to fix her hair with her hands.

"That's not gonna help," Taylor chuckles, "Let's take a shower then you're gonna go to grandma's house. You wanna play with Patrick uncle?"

"Yes mommy," Joy nods happily and holds her hand to go upstairs and take a shower.

Taylor drops off Joy at Elizabeth's house and then goes to the hospital with Taytum. Today is his one month check-up. Joe was supposed to come with them but he got an emergency meeting out of nowhere. She picks up Taytum from his carseat and enters the check up room. She gets changed into a medical gown and waits for her doctor to arrive.

"Hi Taylor. How are you doing?" The doctor asks her with a huge smile.

"I'm good," Taylor smiles back.

"Oh he's big guy now. He's gotten so chubby."

"Yeah he wants to eat all the time."

"That's normal. He's only four weeks."

"I guess so. But he keeps vomiting too."

"That's a sign that he's getting enough food. He's a strong boy," The doctor smiles and starts doing check up on their bodies. She examines Taytum's weight and height at first.

"Have you had any sexual encounter recently?"

"No, I haven't. I feel so exhausted lately. Sex is the last thing in my mind right now."

"Why are you exhausted though? Is mamma doing it all alone? Dad helps or not?"

"No he does. He is really helpful with everything."

"Hmm I see. Although, your body's healed now and you can do it whenever you want. I just want to let you know that it's gonna hurt slightly at first. In some cases it doesn't but it's safe to have you informed. Plus your breasts may start leaking when you get an orgasm. Don't freak out over that. Everything is normal. Pregnancy causes weird activities on our bodies."
