Joe rushes to his table to get his laptop but Taylor holds his hand firmly. She looks at him with annoyed eyes. She seems clearly pissed at him. A wave of worry passes through his whole body realizing he fucked up big this time.

"Answer me Joe," She snaps at him.

"I'm sorry babe," He gulps down feeling guilty. He runs his hand through his hair being anxious about her reaction.

"No, sorry isn't gonna work. What were you thinking before doing this? Do you even love me? Do you trust me? I bet you don't."

"Don't say that please. I love you. I did that by accident I swear-"

"How the fuck do you ruin someone's career by accident?" She cuts off his sentence with her high pitched voice.

"Wait what?" He looks into her eyes being confused.

"You literally ruined Adam's career Joe. You took away his job and now you're planning to ban him? And all of these happened without my acknowledgment. How dare you take such stupid decisions without asking me first?" She looks at him in disbelief. She knew something was off. He's so wrong for this.

"That one was-"

"What do you mean by that one? Are you hiding something else as well?"

"What? No...no, I'm sorry...it was really stupid. I should've asked you first," He tells her as he sits down in the chair. He sighs in relief knowing that Taylor didn't find out the other documents.

"Of course you should have. I hate him too and what he did to me was disgusting. But that doesn't mean that I would want to be as bad as him. Ruining his career is just going to mess up the situation more. I don't understand what went through your head."

"I was mad okay? I hate that guy and I'm not going to let him go away with this so easily. He deserves every bit of embarrassment. He's a fucking piece of shit. He hurt you Taylor. He tried to break us. I'm sorry but I don't feel any regret for my actions apart from the fact that I didn't tell you about it first." He says with a stern voice. He means every word of it.

"You don't realize how stupid you sound right now, do you?"

"Go on and insult me but I'm not changing my mind."

"You know that I hate him too right? And from my side, I wanted to take legal actions about it. But you went on and ruined the whole situation by using your privileged position. This is wrong and you need to realize it."

"Okay fine I'm wrong. I can't believe you're fighting with me for him," He snorts looking away.

"I'm not fighting for him. I'm fighting for what's right and wrong."

"You feel bad for him, don't you?"

"Oh I could say the same thing about Karlie. You didn't take any actions against her when she stole you files, did you?"

"I broke up with her..."

"That sounds so pathetic," Taylor snorts.

"She didn't physically harass me, neither did she send any fake text to my wife."

"So now you're defending her?" She snaps at him.

"I didn't defend her. I'm comparing her actions with Adam's," He snaps back.

"That doesn't change the fact that you were wrong at the first place."

"I admitted that I'm wrong and I said sorry."

"What else are you hiding? Let me see," She says as she opens his laptop again. Joe shoves her hands and takes his laptop back.

"You need to stop touching my things without my permission. Yes I love you but I need my own privacy too. How would you feel if I touch your belongings without you knowing?" He says being frustrated.
